Video editor for YouTube and Amazon Reviews videos

We're hiring a Video Editor to help produce Reviews by Becca — a fast-growing Amazon Influencer brand that creates in-depth product review videos to help shoppers make confident buying decisions.

Our content includes long-form YouTube reviews, product demonstrations, side-by-side comparison tests, and apparel try ons— all designed to educate, entertain, and convert viewers into buyers.

We produce authentic, conversion-focused content showcasing everyday Amazon products — from kitchen tools to smart home gadgets. Your editing is a core reason why viewers trust us. We're building for the long term, and this role grows with you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As our Video Editor, you'll own the post-production process end to end and help raise the standard for the wider editing team.

Responsibilities:

• Edit long-form YouTube review and comparison videos from rough footage to final export — cuts, color, audio, motion graphics, and captions
• Build and maintain branded templates, lower thirds, intros/outros, and transition kits
• Collaborate directly with Rebecca and Team on pacing, structure, and creative direction for each video
• Work efficiently through 4K footage pipelines without sacrificing quality or turnaround time
• Use AI-assisted tools (ChatGPT, Descript, OpusClip, etc.) to accelerate rough cut and repurposing workflows
• Provide clear, constructive critique to Rebecca and team regarding filming and assist with workflow efficiencies
• Create thumbnail concepts and provide editing-informed feedback on click-worthiness
• Manage file organization, project archives, and delivery timelines across multiple concurrent videos
• Track hours and productivity using Hubstaff (required upon hire)

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• 2+ years editing YouTube or creator content professionally
• Expert-level in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
• Fast and efficient with 4K footage — you don't let a heavy timeline slow you down
• Strong sense of pacing — you know when a cut is 2 seconds too long
• Experience editing product demos, reviews, or comparison formats
• Comfortable with AI editing tools (Descript, OpusClip)
• Ability to give clear, actionable feedback and mentor junior editors
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Reliable internet (100 Mbps+ upload and download) and a capable 4K editing workstation
• At least 1 hour overlap in EST for check-ins and training

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Amazon Influencer or affiliate-focused content
• Short-form editing experience (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
• Motion graphics skills in After Effects or Fusion
• Understanding of YouTube retention analytics and thumbnail strategy
• Familiarity with ---------- or similar review/delivery platforms
• Experience coordinating within a small content team

Equipment Required:
-Computer with a processor that can download videos and run a time tracker simultaneously
-Your own subscription to DaVinci Resolve and/or Adobe Premiere
-Two-monitor setup
