Appointment Setter & Lead Generation Specialist

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and results-driven Appointment Setter & Lead Generation Specialist. The primary goal of this role is simple: book demo appointments. Everything you do feeds toward that. You'll be targeting small business owners and decision-makers across California, as well as referral partners such as insurance brokers and HR consultants, using a combination of research, LinkedIn outreach, and email campaigns.

Work Structure & Requirements

Location: Remote / Virtual
Schedule: 20 hours per week (PST)

Key Responsibilities

1. Demo Appointment Booking

Book demo appointments with California small business owners and decision-makers in industries with hourly employees — including restaurants, construction, dental offices, retail, staffing, and healthcare (businesses under 150 employees that pay hourly workers)
Book referral partnership meetings with EPLI insurance brokers, insurance agents, and HR consultants in California who work with these types of businesses

2. Lead Research & List Building

Build targeted lead lists by researching and finding decision-maker names, direct phone numbers, and email addresses
Maintain clean, accurate, and organized prospect databases

3. Outreach & Campaign Execution

Run LinkedIn and email outreach campaigns to generate interest and move contacts toward a booked call
Track all outreach activity and maintain clear records of pipeline progress

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: Prior experience in appointment setting, SDR work, or outbound lead generation
Outreach: Comfortable running high-volume LinkedIn and email campaigns
Research: Able to find and verify decision-maker contact information independently
Communication: Strong written English with the ability to craft engaging, professional outreach messages
Organization: Detail-oriented with strong follow-up habits and activity tracking discipline
