Hi, I’m Jas, founder of Moody Imagery - a Sydney-based wedding photo + film studio creating emotionally driven, cinematic wedding films with a nostalgic, film-inspired aesthetic.

I’m looking for a skilled Video Editor to join my team on a long-term freelance basis, supporting the storytelling side of the business as we grow.This role is for someone who loves narrative editing, emotional pacing, and the art of turning real ---------- nts into films that actually feel something.

The Role:
You will be editing story-led wedding films that prioritise connection over trend, and emotion over effect.

Your work will focus on:
3–6 minute cinematic highlight films
Full ceremony and speech edits
Documentary-style long-form wedding films
Nostalgic b-roll including Super 8mm and camcorder footage

You’re a great fit if you:
Are confident editing in DaVinci Resolve (primary platform).
Have a strong eye for visual rhythm, music-driven pacing, and emotional storytelling.
Understand how to shape raw ---------- nts into a cohesive narrative, not just cut to music.
Are highly organised, reliable with deadlines, and comfortable working independently.
Communicate clearly, receive feedback well, and care deeply about quality.

Experience:
Proven experience editing weddings or similarly emotional, story-based content.
Film-inspired colour grading is a strong advantage, but not essential.
