About the Role

About Us

We are BeMarketing, a Danish performance marketing agency serving a portfolio of e-commerce (DTC) brands. We run paid ads, Google Ads, and email marketing for our clients. We are building out a dedicated design function to own all email design and static ad creative. This is a long-term role for the right person, not a one-off gig.

The Role

You will own all graphic design across two lanes: email design (Klaviyo email s for our client brands) and static ad design (Meta ads). You design - you do NOT build in Klaviyo. A dedicated Klaviyo technician takes your finished Figma files and builds them. Your job is to make them great.

You work asynchronously most of the week. We communicate on Slack, and all work is tracked in Notion. Every design you make follows a clear, documented brief with finished copy - you are never guessing what to write or what the offer is. You are never guessing what to do. On top of that, we have one weekly video call together - to review work, plan the week ahead, and build a real working relationship. You are part of the team, not an anonymous freelancer.

This is a volume role with high standards. Expect roughly 30-60 email s per month across multiple client brands (campaign email s + flow email s), plus ongoing static ad production. Deadlines are real and non-negotiable.

This is a growth role, and we are hiring a key player - not a disposable VA. Phase 1 is design execution: email s and static ads from briefs, delivered on time, at high quality. As you prove yourself, there is a clear path to real ownership: client design systems, email template libraries, and creative direction on the static ad side.

Compensation is a fixed monthly salary ($750-1,500/month depending on experience) - stable, predictable income, not per-asset piecework. 13th month pay included.

What You'll Do

Email design (the core of the role):

  • Design campaign email s and flow email s in Figma from documented briefs (copy, offer, and structure provided - you own layout, hierarchy, and visual execution)
  • Design mobile-first: most of our audience reads email on a phone
  • Work strictly within each client's brand guidelines (colors, fonts, logo rules, tone) - and never mix brands up
  • Structure your Figma files so they are slice-ready for our Klaviyo technician (clean sections, consistent widths, organized layers)
  • Revise quickly based on feedback from the founder or the client

Static ad design:

  • Design static ads for Meta (feed + story formats) from creative briefs
  • Work both ways: classic manual design (Figma/Photoshop) AND AI image tools (Nano banana, Google's image models, or similar) with professional retouching on top
  • Produce variations of winning ads fast (new hooks, new formats, new aspect ratios)

Quality & delivery:

  • Self-QA every file before handoff: correct brand assets, aligned grids, readable at mobile size, no typos in design text, exportable structure
  • Hit deadlines every time - and flag problems early, not on the day they are due
  • Update status and notes in Notion, communicate clearly on Slack

What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)

  • A DTC / e-commerce portfolio - you have designed real email s AND real ads for e-commerce brands. We want to see the actual work.
  • Conversion-first design instinct - you understand visual hierarchy, CTA placement, and offer communication. Pretty is not enough; your designs need to sell.
  • Brand-system discipline - you can work across multiple client brands in the same week and keep every one of them consistent with its own guidelines.
  • Strong Figma skills - components, auto layout, organized files ready for handoff
  • Comfortable with AI image tools as part of your workflow (and honest about how you use them)
  • Strong written English - clear async communication on Slack
  • Reliable and self-managing - you hit deadlines and flag problems early
  • Comfortable with Notion and Slack workflows
  • Wants to be part of a team long-term - you show up to a weekly call, take ownership, and care about the results of your work (not just the delivery)

Nice to Have

  • Photoshop / retouching skills
  • Familiarity with Klaviyo or email design constraints (max widths, image slicing, dark mode)
  • Motion design / simple GIFs for email or ads
  • Experience working with an agency or across multiple client accounts

How to Apply

  • To show us you actually read this posting, start your application with the word "PIXEL".

Applications that don't include it will be ignored.

Then, please include:

1. Your portfolio - share email designs AND static ads you have made for e-commerce brands (links or attachments). We want to see the actual work, not a mood board.

2. Answer these three questions:

  • How do you keep two different client brands visually separate when you design for both in the same week?
  • Which AI image tools do you use, and where in your process do you use them?
  • How many hours per week are you available, and what are your working hours (please note your timezone)?

3. A short note on why a long-term agency role - where you grow into owning the design function - appeals to you more than one-off freelance gigs.

We review every application that includes the filter word. Response time is typically within a few business days.
