Product Designer – USB Drive & SSD Enclosure Design

Phanium LLC seeks a Product Designer to create industrial designs for our Zero-Exposure Architecture (ZEA) hardware products: encrypted USB flash drive housings and external SSD enclosures. You will design attractive, functional product enclosures that incorporate company branding, logos, and user-friendly form factors. Your responsibilities include developing 3D CAD models for USB drive casings and SSD enclosure designs, specifying materials and finishes, creating manufacturing-ready specifications, collaborating with engineering teams on design-to-production transition, and ensuring designs meet durability and aesthetic standards for enterprise and consumer markets.

Requirements: 5+ years product design experience; proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or equivalent); experience with industrial design for consumer electronics or hardware products; knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and material selection; ability to incorporate branding, logos, and visual design elements; experience with 3D prototyping and design validation; strong communication skills with engineering and manufacturing teams.
