About Us

Caribico is a registered nonprofit building a global network of university and regional chapters for Caribbean and diaspora youth, guided by one idea: One Caribbean, One Future. We're opening chapters at new campuses, and we're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to help bring each one to life on Instagram and connect with students who want to be part of the movement.

The Role

You'll work from a clear, step-by-step playbook we provide — no guesswork. One chapter at a time, you'll take a brand-new Instagram account from setup all the way to a live application campaign over roughly a 2–3 week cycle. Once a chapter attracts its first round of applicants, you hand the list to our team and move on to the next one. No face on camera, and no prior experience in our world required — if you follow instructions carefully and show up consistently, we'll teach you the rest.

What You'll Do (per chapter)

Set up the chapter's Instagram profile using our brand assets and bio template
Find and follow the right students at the target university — we tell you exactly which groups and accounts to target
Engage genuinely: thoughtful comments, replies, and DMs (we give you templates to personalize — never copy-paste spam)
Publish a short set of posts from our templates, including the application-drive post
Build a simple Google Form from our template
Reach out directly to promising prospects and invite them to apply
Track applicants in a shared sheet and pass the shortlist to our team
Keep accounts healthy: capped daily follows, natural pacing, all manual — no bots, no automation

What We're Looking For

Excellent written English
Reliable and consistent: a little every day, on schedule, for the full cycle
Comfortable using Instagram the normal way (not through automation tools)
Detail-oriented, and able to follow a written SOP exactly
Organized, with clean, accurate record-keeping
Bonus: any interest in the Caribbean, community organizing, or nonprofit work

Hours & Commitment

Around 10 hours a week to start — part-time and ongoing. This is a long-term role: as we open more chapters, dependable people take on more of them, with real room to grow.
