I’m looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help me build and refine a custom Point of Sale (POS) system for my repair business.

This is not a typical VA position. You’ll be working directly with me throughout the development process, helping test new features, identify bugs, improve workflows, and ensure the software is ready for launch.

The initial project is expected to last up to three months, with the potential for a long-term position based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Learn how my current POS system works so you understand our daily workflow.
• Use our existing system as a reference to help verify that our new POS performs correctly.
• Test new features, workflows, and automations every day.
• Identify bugs, errors, or anything that doesn’t work as expected.
• Clearly document issues and communicate feedback.
• Verify that reported issues have been fixed.
• Help organize menus, repair categories, pricing, inventory, customer profiles, and other system data.
• Test customer check-in, repair tickets, invoices, inventory, email s, text message automations, and other features.
• Work closely with me during development and provide suggestions to improve usability.
• Rotate testing responsibilities with other tea ---------- mbers to ensure every part of the system is thoroughly tested.
• Perform research and data entry when needed to support development.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning new software quickly.
• Reliable computer and high-speed internet.
• Organized, dependable, and able to follow detailed instructions.
• Comfortable working with AI tools such as ChatGPT.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Virtual Assistant experience.
• Experience testing websites, apps, or software.
• Experience using POS, CRM, or inventory management systems.
• Basic technical knowledge or familiarity with software development is a plus (coding is not required).

Schedule

• Part-time to start.
• Must be available to overlap with U.S. business hours for collaboration.
• Opportunity to transition into a long-term role after the initial project.
