About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Technical Staffing & Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will drive our end-to-end technical staffing operations, manage solicitations, and oversee vendor partnerships. You will be instrumental in identifying top-tier IT talent, managing proposal submissions, optimizing workflows, and tracking key metrics to ensure we meet our strategic revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Candidate Evaluation
Review, edit, and vet candidate resumes to ensure strict alignment with client job requirements.
Evaluate technical skills for specialized IT roles, including Software Developers, DevOps Engineers, Network Engineers, Cybersecurity Analysts, and Data Analysts.
Develop, refine, and implement standardized screening checklists for various technical positions.
Coordinate, schedule, and confirm candidate interviews while maintaining clear communication throughout the hiring pipeline.
Solicitation & Lead Generation
Monitor external procurement portals and agency websites (e.g., NYPA, MTA, PANYNJ) routinely to identify new RFP, RFI, and Bid opportunities.
Review, process, and track all solicitations from initial discovery through to final submission.
Extract necessary compliance information and submit completed proposals through the Passport system.
Conduct proactive post-submission follow-ups to track bid statuses and secure feedback.
Vendor & Consultant Management
Distribute technical requirements and communicate effectively with vendor partners and VPs.
Design, document, and implement process flows and strategic action plans for improved VP management.
Facilitate the seamless onboarding processes for both new vendor partners and end-client consultants.
Maintain active engagement with target and key accounts to support continuous pipeline growth.
Administration & Performance Tracking
Manage project tracking by inputting data, updating fields, and converting email workflows into actionable tasks within Asana.
Maintain comprehensive records of submitted solicitations, won contracts, profit margins, and overall revenue tracking.
Monitor and report on weekly performance metrics, including solicitations submitted, interviews conducted, and lead generation visits.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in technical recruitment, staffing operations, or proposal management.
Solid foundational understanding of common IT roles and the ability to accurately evaluate technical qualifications.
Proficiency in utilizing task management platforms (e.g., Asana) and digital procurement portals (e.g., Passport).
Exceptional organizational skills with strict attention to detail for resume editing, compliance checking, and contract tracking.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with external vendors, technical candidates, and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to track financial goals, contract values, and operational metrics effectively.
