Virtual Assistant — Video Clipping Specialist (AI Agent Trainer)
Confidential employer
About the Role
We run a portfolio of businesses operated largely by AI agents. We are building a video clipping operation that earns through paid clipping campaigns on marketplaces like Whop and Vyro — cutting creators' long-form content into short vertical clips and getting paid per verified views. We are hiring an experienced clipper whose job is to teach our AI agents how to run this operation: selecting campaigns, producing clips that get views and pass approval, and managing posting accounts.
This role requires proof of work — you should be able to show clips you've made and campaigns you've been paid on.
What You'll Do
1) Design the end-to-end clipping workflow (campaign selection ? sourcing the ---------- nt ? editing ? captioning ? posting ? view verification ? payout) as written SOPs an AI agent can follow
2) Train the agent on what makes a clip perform: hook selection, pacing, caption style, first-3-seconds retention — reviewing its picks and edits and explaining your reasoning
3) Define quality and approval standards: what campaign owners approve vs. reject, and how to avoid wasted work
4) Document account strategy: growing and maintaining posting accounts on TikTok/Reels/Shorts, warm-up, posting cadence, and staying within platform rules
5) Teach campaign economics: how to evaluate a campaign's rate, terms, competition, and realistic earnings before committing
6) Monitor results and translate learnings into updated agent instructions
Required Experience
1) Proven experience as a paid clipper: you have completed campaigns on Whop, Vyro, ---------- , or similar and received payouts
2) Strong short-form editing skills with tools like CapCut, Premiere, or AI-assisted tools (OpusClip, Submagic, Vizard) — and clear judgment on when AI output needs manual fixing
3) Deep feel for what performs on TikTok, Reels, and Shorts: hooks, retention, trends, caption styles
4) Experience running one or more posting accounts and understanding of platform rules (unoriginal content policies, monetization eligibility)
5) Understanding of campaign terms: usage rights, approval gates, view verification, and what gets clippers rejected or banned from campaigns
6) Excellent written English — this role is mostly writing instructions and feedback
Nice to Have
1) Experience managing multiple posting accounts at once
2) Experience training other clippers or writing SOPs
3) Familiarity with view-tracking/analytics and reading retention graphs
How We Work
Remote and mostly async. You'll communicate in written English via chat and short documents. Flexible hours with some overlap for check-ins.
Important Note
We only work with content we have rights to clip — through official campaigns where the creator grants usage rights. We do not reclip content without authorization, and the workflows you design must respect campaign terms and platform rules.
Application Questionnaire (required)
Please answer all questions in English. Short, specific answers beat long generic ones.
1) Which clipping marketplaces have you been paid on (Whop, Vyro, other)? Describe your best campaign: the creator/brand, your total views, and roughly what you earned.
2) Link 3–5 clips you made that performed well. For ONE of them, explain exactly why it worked (hook, pacing, caption choices).
3) How do you d ---------- whether a campaign is worth joining? List your criteria in order of importance.
4) Walk us through your editing workflow step by step, naming every tool. Where do you use AI tools, and where do you refuse to trust them?
5) What are the most common reasons clips get rejected by campaign owners or flagged by platforms, and how do you prevent each one?
6) How do you manage a posting account so it keeps reach over time? Include what you do differently for a brand-new account vs. an established one.
7) Imagine you must teach a very literal-minded new employee to pick the single best 30-second ---------- nt from a 2-hour podcast. Write the exact instructions you would give them (5–10 lines).
