Social Media Video Editor (TikTok, Instagram - Mom Content)

We’re looking for a talented, reliable video editor to join our growing content business!

I create lifestyle content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Amazon Influencer, and I’m looking for someone who can help turn raw footage into engaging, high-retention videos. My content is warm, relatable, aesthetically pleasing, and story-driven. I’m looking for an editor who understands how to make everyday mom moments feel engaging and draws you in, not someone who relies on flashy effects.

This is a long-term opportunity for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form vertical videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Add captions, graphics, zooms, sound effects, and music that match current social media trends
• Create multiple hook variations when needed
• Maintain a consistent editing style and brand aesthetic
• Organize footage and project files
• Meet deadlines and communicate proactively
• Occasionally edit longer YouTube videos or UGC content

Ideal Candidate

You are:

• Experienced editing for social media creators
• Familiar with retention editing and pacing
• Comfortable using Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar software
• Fluent in English
• Detail-oriented
• Reliable and responsive
• Able to receive feedback and improve quickly
• Interested in growing with one creator rather than juggling hundreds of clients

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Motion graphics
• Thumbnail design
• Color correction
• AI editing tools
• Understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends
• Experience editing family, parenting, or lifestyle content

Hours

Starting at approximately 10–20 hours per week, with the opportunity for more as the business grows.
