Structural Steel Detailer (AutoCAD / Tekla) for fabrication workshop

Role Overview:
Responsible for producing accurate and detailed fabrication drawings for steel structures and metal works, ensuring all designs are ready for manufacturing and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for steel structures and metal fabrication
• Develop accurate dimensions, sections, and connection details
• Produce material take-offs and cutting lists (BOM)
• Translate design concepts into clear fabrication-ready drawings
• Ensure drawings are aligned with workshop capabilities and standards
• Revise drawings based on project requirements and site conditions
• Maintain organized drawing documentation and version control

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Experience with Tekla Structures (preferred)
• Solid understanding of steel structures, connections, and fabrication methods
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of materials, welding, and assembly processes
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Background

• Experience in structural steel, metal fabrication
• Previous work with workshops or manufacturing environments
• Practical understanding of how designs are executed on the ground
