Assistant Vibe Coder

We're hiring another smart, resourceful AI-Assisted Developer / Vibe Coder to join our team long-term.

We do everything — front-end design, AI image and video generation, backend systems, APIs, automations, internal tools, browser automation, and more. You'll touch all of it.

You do not need to be a senior software engineer. We're looking for someone who understands the fundamentals of coding and, most importantly, knows how to use AI tools effectively to build quickly, solve problems, debug issues, and figure things out independently.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work directly with me across a wide variety of projects:

• Front-end design and building modern, responsive websites and web applications
• Generating and editing images and video with AI tools
• Building backend systems, databases, and APIs
• Building integrations, webhooks, and automations
• Using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar
• Browser automation with tools such as Playwright
• Debugging and solving technical problems with AI
• Testing websites and applications
• Working with GitHub and existing codebases
• Researching and experimenting with new AI tools and workflows
• Helping build internal tools that make our work faster and more efficient

Some projects may involve things neither of us has built before. That's completely fine. You should be comfortable researching, experimenting, and using AI to figure things out rather than waiting for detailed step-by-step instructions.

Requirements

You should have:

• Basic to intermediate coding knowledge
• Real experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar)
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with TypeScript and at least one modern framework (React / Next.js preferred)
• Understanding of backend basics: Node.js, REST APIs, webhooks, JSON
• Basic database knowledge (SQL, Postgres, Supabase, or similar)
• Experience deploying projects (Vercel, servers, or similar)
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub
• Comfortable using Terminal and command-line tools
• Ability to understand and modify existing code
• Experience with AI image/video generation tools (e.g. Midjourney, Flux, Runway, Veo) or willingness to learn fast
• Experience with automation platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier) or custom automation scripts
• Strong problem-solving and research skills
• Strong attention to detail — read this whole post carefully
• Good English communication
• Reliable fast internet and a capable computer of your own
• Ability to work independently and learn quickly

Experience with any of the following is a bonus:

• MCP servers and AI agents
• Playwright / browser automation
• WordPress / WooCommerce / Shopify
• Tauri / Electron desktop apps
• Python
• ElevenLabs and AI voice tools

You do not need to know everything on this list. Your ability to learn, adapt, and use AI effectively is more important than already knowing every technology.

The Type of Person We Want

We want someone whose mindset is: "I don't know how to do this yet, but I can figure it out."

If something doesn't work, you research it, ask AI, try another approach, debug it, and keep going until you find a solution. AI is changing how software and digital products are built, and we actively embrace it. You don't need to manually write every line of code — we actually want you to use AI. What matters is that you understand what you're building, can identify when something isn't working, and know how to use the tools available to get to a working result.

This is not a one-off freelance project. We're looking for someone who can become a long-ter ---------- mber of our team. As you learn how we work and demonstrate your abilities, you'll be trusted with increasingly larger projects and more independence, with increased compensation and responsibility as you grow with the company.

Shortlisted applicants will be given a small practical AI coding challenge before moving to the interview stage.

We care less about degrees, certificates, or how many years you've been coding. What we care about is: Can you learn quickly, use AI effectively, figure things out, and build things that actually work?
