Join the Team Behind Travelling With Schu

Pay: $10 per hour

We're looking for a talented YouTube Shorts Editor to join our growing travel channel.

Our goal is to become one of the UK's leading travel creators, producing entertaining, story-driven content inspired by creators such as Simon Wilson—fast-paced, engaging, authentic and full of personality.

Every time we release a long-form YouTube video, you'll transform it into one or more high-performing YouTube Shorts that make people stop scrolling and watch.

What You'll Do

• Watch each long-form YouTube video.
• Identify the strongest viral ---------- nts.
• Create engaging YouTube Shorts (typically 20–60 seconds).
• Add captions, graphics, zooms, sound effects and pacing that maximise viewer retention.
• Deliver Shorts in YouTube's vertical format (9:16).
• Suggest additional Shorts ideas from each video where appropriate.

We don't just want someone who can edit...

We want someone who understands storytelling, audience retention, hooks and what makes people keep watching. Successful travel Shorts typically rely on a compelling opening, fast pacing and strong visual storytelling.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has experience editing YouTube Shorts, TikToks or Instagram Reels.
• Understands YouTube and viral content.
• Has excellent pacing and storytelling skills.

-Can work independently.

• Has strong English.
• Can deliver consistently and meet deadlines.
• Is creative and brings ideas—not just edits.
