About BetterTok

As we continue releasing new features, we're looking for a long-term video editor who can become an expert on our platform and create engaging educational content that helps creators understand and use BetterTok.

This Isn't a Typical Editing Job

We're not looking for someone who only edits footage we send.

We're looking for someone who is willing to:

Download BetterTok.
Learn the platform inside and out.
Download the software we integrate with (TikTok LIVE Studio, OBS Studio, Stream Deck, etc.).
Record your own screen while demonstrating features.
Turn those recordings into polished tutorials and social media content.

We want someone who understands our product almost as well as our team does.

Responsibilities
Download and actively use BetterTok.
Learn every feature inside the platform.
Download and use related software including:
TikTok LIVE Studio
OBS Studio
Stream Deck
Other streaming tools when needed
Record high-quality screen recordings demonstrating features.
Create engaging TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Produce longer YouTube tutorials when required.
Write simple scripts when needed.
Keep content clean, modern, and easy to understand.
Stay up-to-date with new BetterTok releases and create tutorials for them.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

Has excellent video editing skills.
Learns software quickly.
Has experience creating software tutorials.
Can explain features clearly.
Understands modern short-form content.
Can work independently.
Has strong English communication skills.
Wants a long-term position rather than one-off freelance work.
Required Experience

You must have experience editing videos for:

SaaS companies
Software products
Product demos
App tutorials
Tech products

Experience with streaming software or creator tools is a huge bonus.

Bonus Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

OBS Studio
TikTok LIVE Studio
Stream Deck
AI software
Creator economy tools
Motion graphics
Adobe Premiere Pro
After Effects
DaVinci Resolve

Application Requirements (Required)

? 3–5 examples of SaaS, software, or product demo/tutorial videos you've personally edited.

Applications without relevant examples will not be considered.

Also include:

Your portfolio
Links to TikTok/Reels/Shorts you've edited
Links to longer YouTube tutorials (if available)
The editing software you use
Your hourly rate or monthly salary expectation
Your timezone
Your weekly availability

You only edit gaming montages, vlogs, or entertainment content.
You're not willing to download and learn BetterTok and the software we integrate with.
You prefer only editing footage provided by clients.
You're looking for a short-term freelance project.
