E-commerce Meta Ads Video Editor — Long-Term Position

We are looking for an experienced video editor to create high-performing Meta ads for our Dutch e-commerce pet brand, Dierenhome.

We will provide you with the scripts, product information, examples and creative direction. Your job is to turn each script into a complete Facebook and Instagram video advertisement.

You will be responsible for:

• Turning written scripts into engaging Meta ads
• Finding relevant product footage, stock footage and supporting visuals
• Choosing visuals that match every line of the script
• Creating strong hooks in the first few seconds
• Adding subtitles, music, sound effects and visual elements
• Editing with strong pacing and a clear direct-response structure
• Asking us for additional product footage or B-roll when necessary
• Creating different variations for creative testing
• Delivering videos on time and correctly following feedback

We do not want an editor who simply places random footage underneath a voice-over.

You must be able to understand the message of the script, think independently and use common sense when selecting footage and editing the advertisement.

Requirements:

• Experience editing e-commerce, Meta or TikTok advertisements
• Understanding of hooks, pacing, retention and direct-response marketing
• Ability to independently find suitable footage
• Good English communication
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and able to meet deadlines
• Open to feedback and revisions
• Able to ask questions when footage or information is missing

This is a long-term monthly position. When the collaboration works well, you will receive consistent work and the number of videos can increase over time.
