About the Role

We would rather hire a football fan who bets and teach them social media, than hire a social media expert and teach them football

Start your application with MATCHDAY.

We are a football data product launching for the new Premier League season. Our system produces real statistics every day: standout performances, odds movements, shot locations, player stat boards. We need someone to put that in front of people and talk to them.

Here is the thing. We can teach scheduling, Canva and analytics in a week. We cannot teach someone to care about football or to understand what a shots line is worth on a Saturday. So we are hiring for the second thing.

The job

Post our daily data cards on X and Facebook , on a schedule
Reply to comments and DMs, in a voice people recognise
React on matchdays when something interesting happens
Get us in front of football and betting communities that already exist
Bring us post ideas every week from the data we produce
Rules we do not bend. We are a data product, not tipsters. We never claim outcomes, never post win rates or hit rates, never call anything a lock or a banker. We show what the numbers say and let people d ---------- for themselves. If that sounds restrictive, this is not the job for you. If it sounds like a relief, keep reading.

What we need

You follow football properly and you understand betting markets
You write well in English, with a bit of personality
You are available on a set schedule including weekends in season
Any experience running an account, page or group
Nice to have: short-form video editing.

Hours and pay. 12 to 18 hours a week to start, ---------- PHP per hour depending on experience, more for the right person. Hours and rate grow with the account.

To apply, start with MATCHDAY and answer three things.

1.Pick any fixture this weekend. Name one player prop you would back, the line, and two sentences on why.

2.Here is a real stat from our data: Neco Williams made 11 tackles against Liverpool last season, the joint-highest by any Premier League player. Write the post you would put out with it. Just the post, as you would publish it.

3.What hours can you work, in Irish time, and are you currently working with other clients?
