Executive Assistant to Nathan Carlson

Hi! My name is Nathan Carlson, and I'm looking for someone to become my right hand.

I'm an entrepreneur currently building multiple organizations, including Kutoa Foundation (an international education nonprofit), Public Portal (a GovTech startup helping cities better connect with residents), TripFund (a fundraising platform), and several other projects, including my book, public speaking, and personal brand.

I'm looking for someone who wants to grow with me long-term—not someone looking for just another virtual assistant job.

Your job is simple: help me stay organized so I can spend more time building.

Every day will be different. Some days you'll manage my calendar and inbox, schedule meetings, organize projects, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Other days you'll research speaking opportunities, reach out to conferences, help sell my book, coordinate nonprofit projects, organize fundraising campaigns, build contact lists for cities, assist with outreach for Public Portal and TripFund, manage my LinkedIn and social media, create systems, write email s, prepare presentations, research almost anything, and help bring new ideas to life. If something needs to get done, I want you to help figure it out.

I'm looking for someone who is incredibly organized, proactive, dependable, and enjoys solving problems. I care much more about attitude, communication, and initiative than years of experience. You should be comfortable learning new software, using AI tools like ChatGPT, and figuring things out without needing step-by-step instructions.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with a founder who is building multiple organizations focused on making a positive impact. You'll gain experience in entrepreneurship, startups, nonprofits, marketing, sales, operations, project management, and leadership. As my businesses grow, I want this role to grow with them.
