Quality Control — Virtual Assistant

ABOUT SUCCESS FORMULA
Success Formula is a fast-growing youth entrepreneurship brand built around creator and entrepreneur Shawn Lynch. Our mission is to teach young people the 7 skills school never taught them. We have a team of 42 overseas video editors producing short-form content every day across all major social media platforms. We need a sharp eye to make sure every video meets our brand standards before it goes live.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to review every video our editors produce before it gets posted. This is a remote position and you can work from anywhere in the world. Your job is to watch each video, check it against our brand standards, and either approve it or write clear notes explaining what needs to be fixed. You are the quality gate between our editors and our audience. Nothing goes live without your approval.

Attention to detail is everything in this role. You must be able to spot spelling errors, missing captions, audio problems, and off-brand content. If you are not sure — you ask. You never guess.

WHAT YOU WILL DO EVERY DAY
? Go into ClickUp and find the videos ready for QC review in Stage 4
? Click the Google Drive link inside the task and download the finished video
? Watch the full video and inspect it for 3 things: the Hook, the Captions, and the Audio
? Mark each as PASS or FAIL inside the ClickUp task
? If the video passes all 3 checks — upload it to the approved poster folder and mark APPROVED
? If the video fails any check — write a timestamped error document listing every problem
? Upload the error document to ClickUp and tag the Editor Manager
? Track which editors submitted on time and which ones did not
? Tag Pipeline Parker in ClickUp when approved content is ready to move forward
? Send a daily summary to your manager: number approved, number in revision, editors who missed

THE 3 THINGS YOU INSPECT ON EVERY VIDEO
HOOK: Does bold text appear on screen in the first 2 to 3 seconds? Vertical videos: hook appears then disappears. Horizontal videos: hook appears in the black bar area. Spelled correctly and easy to read?
CAPTIONS: Are captions burned into the video and synced to the audio? Spelled correctly? Do they say young people and never kids? No em dashes?
AUDIO: Can you clearly hear the speaker? Is the background music too loud? Any gaps or sudden cuts in the audio?

BRAND RULES YOU MUST KNOW
Say YOUNG PEOPLE: Never kids — if a caption says kids it is an automatic FAIL
No em dashes: No dash like this in any caption. It is a FAIL if you see one.
End card keywords: Every video must end with: PROOF / AI / MENTOR / EVENT
$150 million: Dollar amounts written exactly as $150 million only
Shawn Tank: Always written as Shawn Tank — no other spelling

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
? You are extremely detail-oriented and notice small errors others miss
? You are reliable and complete your reviews on time every day
? You have watched short-form video content and understand what good looks like
? You can write clear specific feedback with timestamps
? You are comfortable using Google Drive and ClickUp (we will train you)
? You communicate quickly if something is unclear or if you find a problem
? English reading and writing ability to read captions and write error notes
? Good internet connection for downloading and reviewing video files

BONUS — NICE TO HAVE (NOT REQUIRED)

• Experience reviewing or editing video content
• Familiarity with short-form content on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube
• Experience using ClickUp or a similar project management tool
• Background in proofreading or quality assurance
