Funding Specialist VA (U.S. Business Funding / Personal Loans / Credit Lines)

Job Description:

We are hiring a highly organized and detail-oriented Funding Specialist Virtual Assistant to help manage clients through the U.S. business funding process.

This role is ideal for someone who already has experience with U.S.-based funding products, including business credit cards, business lines of credit, personal loans, and funding strategies.

You will be responsible for assisting approximately 10–15 funding clients per month, helping guide them through applications, communicating with lenders and bankers, and ensuring smooth follow-up throughout the funding process.

Responsibilities
Manage 10–15 funding clients monthly
Follow up with clients regarding pending applications and required documents
Assist clients via Zoom calls during personal or business funding applications
Help clients complete online applications for:
Business credit cards
Business lines of credit
Personal loans
Business funding products
Coordinate introductions between clients and bankers/lenders
Track application progress and maintain organized client records
Communicate approvals, updates, denials, and next steps with the internal team
Ensure clients are properly guided throughout the funding process
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive financial information
Requirements

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH U.S. FUNDING PRODUCTS

SBA or traditional lending familiarity (preferred)
Understanding of U.S. credit and lending terminology

You should be familiar with concepts such as:

Credit utilization
Credit scores
Business funding approvals
Underwriting basics
Personal guarantees
Funding sequencing
Bank relationships
Soft pull vs hard pull
Ideal Candidate
Prior experience in business funding, lending, credit repair, loan processing, or financial services
Strong English communication skills
Comfortable speaking with U.S.-based clients via Zoom
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Able to follow up consistently with clients and lenders
Professional and confident communication style
Reliable internet and quiet work environment
Comfortable working in U.S. business hours when needed
