About the Role

We’re entering a growth phase and need a strategic supply?chain professional who can help us move from a fragmented vendor setup to a predictable, contracted, scalable supply chain.

This role starts part?time or project?based, with the clear opportunity to evolve into a full?time position as the business grows.

About the Role

We currently work with ~20 Alibaba vendors across multiple product components. Your primary mission is to audit, consolidate, and modernize this supply chain into a reliable, cost?efficient, long?term vendor ecosystem.

You’ll lead vendor evaluation, negotiation, consolidation, QC setup, freight coordination, and the creation of repeatable procurement processes. This is a strategic role with meaningful impact on product quality, margins, and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Audit & Evaluation — review all existing suppliers, assess reliability, quality, communication, and risk
  • Supplier Consolidation — reduce ~20 vendors to 3–5 contracted partners
  • Price & Terms Negotiation — secure better pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and lead times
  • QC Process Setup — define standards and coordinate with QC firms (e.g., QIMA, V-Trust)
  • Freight & Logistics Coordination — select freight forwarders, define Incoterms, build landed cost models
  • Lead-Time Modeling — create predictable production + shipping timelines
  • Procurement SOP Creation — build ordering, tracking, and escalation workflows
  • Cost Analysis — evaluate cost-saving opportunities and margin improvements
  • Supplier Relationship Management — maintain strong, long-term vendor partnerships
  • Documentation & Reporting — maintain organized procurement records and vendor scorecards

What Success Looks Like

  • Vendor list reduced from ~20 ? 3–5 high-quality suppliers
  • Clear contracts, pricing, MOQs, and lead times
  • QC and freight processes established
  • Predictable replenishment cycles
  • Clean, organized procurement documentation
  • A supply chain that supports scaling into retail and institutional partners

Requirements

  • Strong experience in supplier sourcing, vendor management, and negotiation
  • Experience with Alibaba/China sourcing is a major plus
  • Familiarity with QC processes, freight forwarding, or Incoterms is ideal
  • Excellent English communication
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing timelines
  • Organized, detail?oriented, and proactive
  • Open to part?time or project?based work with potential to grow into full?time
