Social Media Manager — Design, Publishing & Community Management (Expert English Required)
Confidential employer
Pivyt is a US-based (Pennsylvania) done-for-you marketing agency. We handle content production, paid ads, SEO, and web development for roughly 17 active clients — med spas, restaurants, tattoo studios, gun ranges, property management companies, home services, and ecommerce brands.
Our clients are American small businesses with real customers watching their feeds. Every caption you write and every comment you reply to is read as the business owner's own voice. That is why the English bar on this role is absolute.
The Role
You own the day-to-day social presence for a portfolio of client accounts. Three parts to the job, roughly equal:
Design — create the post graphics, carousels, story frames, and reel covers
Publishing — schedule and post everything on time, formatted correctly per platform
Community management — reply to comments and DMs in each client's voice, flag leads, escalate problems
What You'll Do
Post Design
Design static posts, multi-slide carousels, quote graphics, promo announcements, and story frames in Canva (Figma is a plus)
Work inside each client's brand kit — fonts, colors, logo placement — and keep it consistent across every asset
Build and maintain reusable templates so output stays fast without looking templated
Create reel/short covers and thumbnails
Light video work: trimming clips, adding captions and text overlays, resizing for each platform
Source and edit stock or client-provided photography
Publishing & Scheduling
Build monthly content calendars per client and get them approved before the month starts
Write captions in each client's voice — not the same caption reskinned across 17 brands
Research and apply relevant hashtags per client and per market
Schedule and publish across Instagram, Facebook , TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and Google Business Profile
Post directly from the app when the scheduler can't handle a format
Confirm every post actually went out. Silent failures are your responsibility to catch.
Community Management
Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions across all client accounts, daily
Answer common questions (hours, pricing, booking, location) using each client's approved response guide
Identify buying signals and route them to the client or into the CRM
Handle negative comments and reviews with judgment — de-escalate publicly, escalate internally
Engage proactively: comment on local business and partner accounts to build reach
Flag anything sensitive to us before responding. You'll never be blamed for asking first.
Reporting
Pull monthly performance numbers per client — reach, engagement, follower growth, top posts
Write a short plain-English summary of what worked and what you'd change
Bring ideas. If a format is dying on one account, say so.
English Requirement — Read This Carefully
This is the single hardest filter on this role. You will be writing publicly on behalf of American businesses and speaking to their customers directly.
You need:
Near-native written English — idiomatic, natural, correct
A feel for American tone and slang, including what's appropriate for a med spa versus a tattoo studio versus a gun range
The ability to write in multiple distinct brand voices and keep them separate
Zero grammar and spelling errors in published work
If your application contains an obvious AI-written paragraph or awkward phrasing, it will not move forward. We would rather read three plain sentences you actually wrote than a polished paragraph you didn't.
Required Experience
2+ years managing social media accounts professionally — agency or multi-client experience strongly preferred
Expert-level Canva. You should be fast and your work should not look like a Canva template.
Hands-on experience publishing to Instagram, Facebook , TikTok, and LinkedIn, including current format and sizing requirements
Experience with a scheduling tool (we use GoHighLevel's social planner; Later, Metricool, Buffer, or Hootsuite experience transfers fine)
Real community management experience — you've handled an angry commenter before
Organized enough to run 8–12 accounts without dropping a posting date
Reliable internet and a computer that can handle design work plus multiple browser profiles
Nice to Have
Figma
CapCut or Premiere for short-form video editing
GoHighLevel experience
ClickUp
Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager familiarity
Google Business Profile posting
Experience with US local service businesses specifically
Who This Is Not For
Anyone whose English is "good" but not excellent. This role will not work for you and we'll both waste a month finding out.
Anyone who needs a caption written for them
Anyone running this alongside two other clients. This is a full-time seat.
Anyone who posts and disappears. Community management is half the job, not an afterthought.
What You Get
Steady, long-term full-time work with a stable agency
Paid twice monthly, on time, every time
Philippine holidays observed
Paid time off after 6 months
Creative ownership — your ideas get tested, not just your execution
We pay for Canva Pro, scheduling tools, and any training you need
