About the Role

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hrs/week
Salary: $500/month base + performance bonuses (details below)
Schedule: Must overlap 4+ hours daily with US Eastern time (evening/night shift in PH)

About Us

Dev Mastery is a six-month mentorship program that helps mid-level software engineers get promoted to senior. Our founder, Hayk Simonyan, has 140,000 YouTube subscribers and a growing LinkedIn audience. Our students land roles at Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Oracle, and JPMorgan.

We're a small, fast-moving team. You'll work directly with our COO.

The Role

You'll run LinkedIn outreach to software engineers who follow our founder, start real conversations, and book qualified strategy calls with our sales team.

This is not a copy-paste spam job. Our prospects are experienced developers earning $80k-$300k. They can spot a template instantly. You'll write personalized messages that reference their actual background.

What You'll Do Daily

  • Send 40-60 personalized LinkedIn connection requests and messages
  • Manage ongoing conversations in the LinkedIn inbox and reply within a few hours
  • Qualify prospects against our criteria before booking (we'll train you - booking unqualified people hurts your bonus, not just ours)
  • Book qualified calls onto our closer's calendar
  • Follow up with people who showed interest but didn't book
  • Log every conversation and outcome in our CRM
  • Send reminder messages so booked prospects actually show up
  • Report your numbers daily in a shared sheet

Requirements

Must have:

  • Excellent written English - near-native. You'll write to senior engineers in the US and Europe
  • 1+ year experience in appointment setting, cold outreach, or sales development
  • Comfortable with basic tech vocabulary (backend, cloud, system design, APIs). You don't need to code, but you must not sound lost
  • Reliable internet and a quiet work environment
  • Able to work US Eastern hours

Nice to have:

  • Experience selling coaching, courses, or high-ticket B2C programs
  • Familiarity with GoHighLevel or similar CRMs
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience

Compensation

  • $700/month base
  • $25 per qualified call that shows up (not per booking - showing up is what counts)
  • $150 per enrollment from a call you booked

A strong setter here earns $1,300-$1,800/month. Our program sells for $4,800-$5,700, so we can afford to pay well for quality.

Reviewed after 90 days with a raise for consistent performance.

Why This Job Is Good

  • You're messaging people who already follow and trust our founder. This is warm outreach, not cold spam
  • Real product with real results - you'll be proud of what you're selling
  • Small team, direct access to leadership, fast decisions
  • Long-term role. We're hiring someone to grow with us, not a short contract

How to Apply

Applications that skip any step will be ignored.

Subject line: SYSTEM DESIGN - [Your Full Name]

In your message, include:
1. Your experience with appointment setting or outreach - what you sold, to whom, and your numbers
2. What hours you can work in US Eastern time
3. Your answer to: "A software engineer replies to your message with 'Not interested, I already know system design.'" - write your exact reply, word for word
4. A 3-sentence LinkedIn message you'd send to a developer with 6 years of experience who just liked one of our founder's posts about system design interviews

Number 3 and 4 are what we actually read. Take your time on them.
