About the Role

Property Management Customer Support Specialist
Full-Time | Permanent Work From Home | U.S. Eastern Time
Salary: $700–$800 USD/month

Important: Applicants who do not follow the instructions below will not be entertained.

Be the Person the Team Can Count On

An established U.S. property management company is looking for a positive, dependable, and resourceful professional to join their team.

The company manages homeowners associations (HOAs) -- residential communities such as condominiums, townhomes, and neighborhoods that share common property, services, and rules. You will help homeowners, board members, vendors, and community managers get the support they need.

This is not a temporary project or a basic task-based VA role -- you will become a trusted, long-ter ---------- mber of the team. Experience is helpful, but attitude matters more: we want someone who works hard, communicates with kindness, takes responsibility, learns quickly, and follows through without being reminded.

What You Will Do

  • Respond professionally to homeowner and board member email s
  • Answer basic questions about accounts, charges, payments, and ledgers
  • Review, organize, and follow up on maintenance requests and work orders
  • Coordinate between homeowners, vendors, and community managers
  • Track requests and action items until completed
  • Provide administrative support to community and portfolio managers
  • Assist with invoice processing and approval workflows
  • Maintain accurate notes, records, and documentation
  • Research questions before escalating them
  • Help document and improve repeatable processes
  • Learn new responsibilities as you grow into the role

You won't be expected to know everything on day one -- just to care, pay attention, ask thoughtful questions, and improve over time.

The Person We Hope to Find

Someone who:

  • Brings a positive attitude and works hard even when unsupervised
  • Treats customers and coworkers with patience and respect
  • Takes ownership of assignments from start to finish
  • Notices details others overlook
  • Solves problems independently but knows when to ask for help
  • Accepts feedback without becoming defensive
  • Stays calm and professional in difficult conversations
  • Communicates clearly when something is delayed or unclear
  • Keeps commitments and follows through
  • Wants to build a career with the company, not just complete tasks
  • Values honesty, respect, teamwork, and personal responsibility

Mistakes can be corrected and skills can be taught -- a poor attitude, dishonesty, repeated excuses, and unwillingness to work hard cannot.

Helpful Experience

  • Property management or HOA/condo association experience
  • Customer service, resident/tenant support, or maintenance coordination
  • Billing, accounting, or administrative support
  • Email -based customer communication
  • CINC Systems, Microsoft Outlook/Teams, or work-order platforms (a plus, not required)

Candidates with strong transferable experience and the right attitude are encouraged to apply.

Communication Requirements

Strong written English is essential. You should be able to:

  • Write clear, warm, professional email s
  • Understand the real question behind a customer's message
  • Communicate respectfully with frustrated or confused homeowners
  • Proofread before sending
  • Know when to resolve an issue vs. escalate it

Schedule

Full-time, ~40 hours/week, with substantial overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours. Please apply only if you're confident you can consistently maintain this schedule long-term.

Technology Requirements

  • Dependable computer for daily business applications
  • Stable, high-speed internet
  • Quiet, professional home workspace
  • Reliable headset and camera
  • Backup plan for internet/power interruptions

Compensation & Growth

  • $700–$800 USD/month, depending on experience
  • Full-time, long-term employment, paid twice monthly
  • Paid company holidays + consideration for Philippine holidays
  • Initial training in property management, processes, communication, and AI tools
  • Ongoing support and opportunities to grow with the organization

How to Apply

Please submit:

  • A brief introduction explaining why this position interests you
  • Why your attitude and work habits make you a dependable tea ---------- mber
  • A summary of your customer service, property management, accounting, or admin experience
  • An example of a time you took ownership of a problem and solved it
  • How you would respond to a frustrated customer
  • A list of the software and business tools you've used
  • Your available working hours in Philippine Time
  • Your internet speed and computer specifications
  • Your updated resume/CV (PDF preferred)
  • A link to a brief video introducing yourself, answering the questions above (no script -- we want a genuine answer, not a perfect one)

In your video, answer this question: What does being a dependable tea ---------- mber mean to you?

Please begin your application with the words: "You can count on me."

Applications missing this phrase, or that don't follow the instructions above, will not be considered.
