Driver Recruiting Coordinator (Remote)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and proactive Driver Recruiting Coordinator to support the hiring and onboarding of delivery drivers for a growing transportation company.
In this role, you will help move driver candidates through the recruiting process by reviewing applications, contacting applicants, scheduling interviews, following up, sending onboarding documents, and maintaining accurate candidate records.
This position is ideal for someone who communicates professionally, follows through consistently, stays organized, and enjoys helping candidates move successfully through a hiring process.
Primary Responsibilities
Candidate Recruiting
- Review incoming driver applications
- Contact qualified applicants by phone, text, email , or messaging platform
- Conduct initial candidate screening
- Schedule interviews
- Send interview reminders
- Follow up with candidates who miss appointments
- Maintain consistent communication with active applicants
- Assist with managing driver recruiting advertisements
Onboarding Support
- Send onboarding documents and instructions
- Track completion of required documents
- Follow up regarding missing information
- Assist candidates with account activation steps
- Maintain accurate onboarding records
- Update candidate status throughout the hiring process
- Escalate documentation or eligibility concerns to leadership
Candidate Tracking and Administration
- Maintain an organized recruiting tracker
- Document candidate communication and follow-up attempts
- Record interview outcomes and next steps
- Monitor how quickly candidates move through the process
- Prepare daily recruiting updates
- Identify delays or recurring problems in the hiring process
- Protect applicant and company information
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Has strong customer service or candidate communication skills
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented
- Can follow a structured recruiting process
- Documents information accurately
- Follows up without needing repeated reminders
- Learns new software and systems quickly
- Is dependable, professional, and proactive
- Has reliable internet and a quiet workspace
Experience in recruiting, customer service, administration, virtual assistance, human resources, or operations is preferred but not required.
Transportation or logistics experience is not required. Training will be provided on company procedures and systems.
Schedule
- Remote position
- 40 hours per week
- A consistent schedule will be assigned within the company’s operating hours of 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time
- Specific working days and shift hours will be discussed during the interview process
