Part-Time UK Land & Property Sourcer

We are looking for a Part-Time UK Land & Property Sourcer to help identify suitable land, property, development and investment opportunities across the UK.

This role is focused on UK land and property sourcing only, so applicants should have a genuine interest in UK property, development sites, auction properties and investment opportunities.

Full training will be provided, but the ideal candidate must be naturally curious, detail-focused and willing to carry out proper research.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for carrying out detailed online research to find land and property opportunities that match our criteria.

This will involve many hours of structured research using Google Maps, Street View, UK property portals, auction websites, commercial property sites, planning portals and other online sources.

A big part of the role involves detective-style research — following clues, checking surrounding areas, spotting underused sites, reviewing planning history, identifying ownership clues and piecing together information from a range of different sources.

Key Responsibilities
Source UK land and property opportunities suitable for acquisition, investment or development.
Research opportunities using Google Maps, Street View and satellite view.
Search UK property portals including Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket and commercial property websites.
Review UK auction sites and upcoming auction catalogues.
Research planning portals to check site history and possible development potential.
Look for vacant land, unused buildings, garages, yards, commercial sites and redevelopment opportunities.
Carry out detective-style research from multiple sources to find overlooked or under-marketed opportunities.
Prepare clear shortlists with links, asking prices, location details, planning notes and comments.
Track leads clearly in a spreadsheet or CRM-style format.
Provide regular updates on new opportunities found.
Requirements
UK land or property sourcing experience preferred.
Familiarity with Rightmove, Zoopla, auction sites and Google Maps.
Comfortable doing detailed online research for long periods.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to spot potential opportunities others may miss.
Good written English and clear reporting.
Proactive, organised and able to work independently.
Must be serious, reliable and willing to learn.
Training

Full training will be provided on our specific sourcing criteria, research methods and reporting format.

However, applicants should already be confident using the internet for research and should have either direct UK property experience or a strong interest in UK land and property sourcing.

Hours & Pay
Around 12 hours per week
Part-time and remote
Pay: $3–$4 per hour, depending on experience
Ongoing work available for the right person
Important

This is not a simple data-entry role. It requires patience, curiosity and proper research. We are looking for someone who can investigate opportunities carefully and think like a detective.
