About the Role

QA Tester (Online Course Review) - with e-learning designer experience

Type: One-time project, fixed rate (paid on completion of assigned scope)
Location: Remote, Philippines-based applicants

About the Project
We're looking for a detail-oriented tester to help us quality-check our soon-to-launch online pharmacy technician training course. You'll go through the assigned course modules as a learner would, check that quizzes and knowledge checks are graded correctly, and report anything that looks broken, confusing, or wrong.

No pharmacy or healthcare background needed — we'll give you a full instruction packet, including the correct answers for each quiz, so you can check the platform's work rather than needing to know the subject matter yourself.

What You'll Do
1. Work through all course modules on the online course platform, section by section.
2. Complete each in-lesson Knowledge Check and end-of-section Module Quiz and Interactive Case Scenarios.
3. Compare the platform's grading against the answer key we provide — flag anything that's graded incorrectly.
4. Log bugs, broken links, formatting issues, missing images, or other content errors, noting exactly where/when they occurred.
5. Fill out a short scoring rubric for each module you test (feature completeness, functionality, bug frequency, etc.).
6. Share general feedback and suggestions on the learner experience.
7. Submit a completed testing packet (we provide the template — a fillable PDF) for each module you cover.

What We're Looking For
1. Strong attention to detail — you notice small inconsistencies and don't skim past them.
2. Clear written English — your bug reports and notes need to be understandable to someone who wasn't there.
3. Reliable internet connection and comfort navigating a web-based course platform.
4. Ability to follow structured instructions and work independently once given a testing packet.
5. Comfortable using a fillable PDF form and taking screenshots when needed.

No prior QA, software testing is required. If you have it, great — it's a plus — but we're prioritizing carefulness and communication over a formal QA background.

Project Scope & Payment
This is a one-time, project-based engagement — a single flat payment, not hourly or recurring.
Scope: approximately 20 hours of testing work per tester.

Rate: $125 flat, paid one time upon completion of the assigned testing scope.
Deliverable: a completed QA testing packet (provided template) covering your assigned modules, submitted by the given deadline.

How to Apply
Please send:

1. A short note on your e-learning design experience with online courses, testing, content review, or similar detail-oriented work (formal QA experience not required).
2. Confirmation of your available start date and how many hours/week you can commit.
3. Any questions about the project scope.

We'll follow up with the full testing packet and platform access once selected.
