Social Media Content Production Specialist

Remote — Philippines | Part-Time or Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity

About Brandward Marketing

Brandward Marketing is a growing Canadian marketing agency helping businesses improve their marketing presence, reach the right customers and build stronger brands through strategic direction and professional creative production.

Our Canadian leadership team determines the client’s target audience, campaign objective, key message, offer, call to action and overall creative direction.

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Content Production Specialist who can take an approved creative brief and turn it into polished, engaging and professional content.

This is a hands-on production position. You will not be expected to create the overall client strategy or manage client relationships. Your responsibility is to execute the approved direction accurately, creatively and consistently.

Why Join Brandward

We are building a long-term remote production team in the Philippines.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to:

Work with a growing Canadian marketing agency

Create content for businesses across different industries

Receive clear strategy and creative direction

Build ongoing, dependable work rather than isolated projects

Develop professionally as the agency grows

Take on greater responsibility based on performance and reliability

We value strong creative skills, but we place equal importance on accuracy, organization, communication and follow-through.

What You Will Create

You may create content for Facebook , Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts.

Depending on the client and campaign, your work may include:

Static social-media graphics

Carousels

Instagram Reels

TikTok videos

YouTube Shorts

Facebook and Instagram advertisements

Promotional videos

Branded templates

Stories

Educational content

Product and service promotions

Campaign variations

Captioned videos

Content resized for different platforms

You may work on several client brands, so you must be able to adjust your design style, tone and creative approach rather than making every account look the same.

Your Responsibilities

You will be expected to:

Review and follow detailed creative briefs

Use approved wording accurately

Follow brand colours, fonts, layouts and visual guidelines

Create professional and visually compelling content

Maintain consistency across graphics, carousels and videos

Select appropriate images, footage, music, transitions and effects

Create strong visual hooks for short-form video

Add accurate subtitles and text overlays

Format and resize content correctly for each platform

Submit organized drafts and editable source files

Complete revisions professionally and accurately

Meet agreed deadlines

Proofread all work before submission

Check spelling, names, dates, pricing, sizing and branding

Ask questions early when instructions are unclear

You will not publish content or communicate directly with Brandward clients unless specifically authorized.

Required Experience

You must have proven paid experience creating content for real businesses or organizations.

You should have strong ability in social-media graphic design, carousel production and short-form video editing.

Experience with several of the following is required:

Canva Pro

CapCut Pro

Adobe Premiere Pro

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Illustrator

DaVinci Resolve

Figma

Meta Business Suite

Google Drive and Google Workspace

You do not need to be advanced in every program. Please identify your honest skill level and show evidence of the tools you use most effectively.

What We Are Looking For

The strongest applicants will demonstrate:

Excellent visual judgement

Professional short-form video editing

Strong typography and layout

Consistent branding

Good written English

Attention to detail

Reliable communication

Ability to follow direction

Professional handling of feedback and revisions

Strong file organization

Experience working with multiple brands or industries

We are not looking for someone who is only beginning to learn Canva or CapCut.

Your work must already be strong enough to present to prospective business clients.

Portfolio Requirements

A portfolio is mandatory.

Please provide direct, publicly accessible examples of:

Two short-form videos or Reels you personally edited

Two static social-media graphics you personally designed

One carousel you personally created

At least one example produced for a real business or organization

Examples demonstrating consistent branding

For each example, briefly explain:

The business or industry

The campaign or content objective

Exactly what you personally created

The software used

Whether the wording was written by you or provided by someone else

All links must open without requesting permission. Test them in a private or incognito browser before applying.

Do not submit work that:

You did not personally create

Contains confidential information

Displays another agency’s watermark

You are not authorized to share

Cannot legally be shown in a professional portfolio

Shortlisted applicants may be asked to screen-share source files or editing timelines to verify personal contribution.

Use of Selected Portfolio Work

Applicants must confirm whether selected portfolio examples may be displayed on the Brandward Marketing website as prior work completed by a member of our creative production team.

Brandward will not state that the work was originally commissioned by Brandward.

Any approved example would be clearly described as selected prior work created by a member of the team.

Permission will be confirmed in writing before anything is displayed.

Paid Practical Assessment

Shortlisted applicants may be invited to complete a small paid production assessment using a fictional client.

The assessment may require:

One static graphic

One carousel

One short-form video

You will receive a creative brief containing the target audience, campaign objective, approved wording, brand direction and call to action.

The assessment will evaluate:

Ability to follow the brief

Visual quality

Video editing and pacing

Brand consistency

Accuracy of wording

Attention to detail

File organization

Turnaround time

Response to revision requests

The work must be completed personally by the applicant.

Working Arrangement

The position may begin part-time, full-time or on a project basis depending on the successful candidate’s availability and Brandward’s production needs.

Please provide:

Your hourly rate in Canadian dollars

Your weekly availability

Your normal working hours in Philippine Time

Your earliest start date

Your availability for occasional meetings during Canadian Eastern Time

Any current employment, freelance clients or other regular commitments

Outside work is not automatically prohibited, but it must not interfere with agreed Brandward hours, deadlines, confidentiality or quality standards.

Long-Term Growth

We are looking for people who want to become dependable members of a growing agency team.

As Brandward gains clients, strong performers may receive:

More consistent hours

Greater responsibility

Opportunities to specialize

Increased compensation

Involvement in larger campaigns and brands

We want to build long-term working relationships with people who care about the quality of the work and the growth of the company.
