Data Warehouse Engineer w/Fabric and Python WFH (5+ Years Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-based data platforms, with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable data for analytics and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust data warehouse architectures and data pipelines
Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to ingest data from multiple sources
Develop and maintain dimensional data models (star/snowflake schemas)
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
Optimize query performance and storage efficiency
Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks
Document data processes, models, and system architecture
Required Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in data warehousing or data engineering
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt, or similar)
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse)
Solid understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell
Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with big data technologies
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with real-time data streaming
Understanding of data governance and data security frameworks
Certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
