About the Role

As a Virtual Assistant with EAD Consultants, you'll be placed with one of our Australian clients to support their business remotely. Day-to-day tasks vary by client but may include:

Key Responsibilities

· Lead patient appointments and provider calendars.
· Verify insurance eligibility and process prior authorizations.
· Maintain accurate EMR/EHR records while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
· Respond to patient inquiries professionally via phone and email .
· Coordinate referrals, prescriptions, and follow-up appointments.
· Prepare administrative reports and maintain organized documentation.
· Communicate with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies as needed.

Qualifications

· 3–5 years of work experience
· Healthcare administration experience
· HIPAA knowledge
· EMR/EHR experience
· Strong attention to detail
· Leadership experience
· Process improvement mindset
