TikTok Video Editor (Short-Form Content | Long-Term | 20 Hrs/Week)

About Me

I’m a U.S.-based TikTok Shop content creator looking for a long-term video editor to help me scale my content. I create short-form product videos (typically 6–20 seconds) and need someone who can edit quickly while maintaining high quality.

What You’ll Do

• Edit short-form TikTok Shop videos (6–20 seconds)
• Color correct all footage
• Cut and arrange clips into engaging, high-retention videos
• Match my editing style while maintaining consistency across all content
• Organize completed files so they’re easy to post
• Deliver 15–30 edited videos per day once fully trained

Position Details

This position starts at approximately 20 hours per week. As we develop an efficient workflow and if we’re a good long-term fit, there is an opportunity to increase to full-time.

I’m looking for someone interested in building a long-term working relationship, not a short-term freelance project.

Requirements

• Experience editing TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts
• Strong understanding of fast-paced, short-form content
• Excellent color correction skills
• Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
• Reliable internet and excellent communication
• Ability to meet daily deadlines
• Must be available to communicate during U.S. Eastern Time business hours or respond within a few hours.
• Strong attention to detail

Bonus Skills

• Experience editing TikTok Shop or e-commerce content
• Understanding of retention editing and viral short-form videos
• Basic motion graphics or simple animations

Paid Trial Edit

After reviewing applications, I will select a small number of candidates to complete a paid trial edit. I will send you one of my raw TikTok Shop videos along with examples of my editing style. Your job will be to edit the video as if it were going to be posted on my account.

The purpose of the trial is to see if we’re a good fit to work together long-term. If selected for the trial, you will be compensated for your time.
