About the Role

Job Description: Meta Ads Specialist

About the Company
Our client is an Australian business that generates the majority of its new customers through paid social. Meta is the primary acquisition channel, and ad spend is currently managed reactively between other priorities, which means campaigns run without consistent testing, optimisation or reporting.

Why This Role Exists
Nobody currently owns the ad account end to end. Budget is being spent without structured testing, creative is refreshed inconsistently, and performance reporting is patchy. This role exists to put one person in charge of Meta ads so spend becomes predictable, measurable and scalable.

About the Role
A Full-time Meta Ads Specialist who owns the entire paid social function: campaign builds, audience and creative testing, budget management, tracking, and weekly reporting. You are not just launching ads, you are responsible for the numbers.

Role
Meta Ads Specialist

40 hours per week (full-time, 9:00am-5:00pm AEST, (Mon-Fri)

Location
Remote (Philippines), aligned to Australian business hours

Manage daily and monthly budgets, pacing spend to target CPA and ROAS
Run structured A/B tests on audiences, placements, offers and creative angles
Scale winning campaigns and cut underperformers quickly

Creative and copy

Write ad copy variations and hooks for testing
Brief and coordinate creative (static and video), working with designers or editors where required
Maintain a creative testing pipeline so the account never goes stale

Tracking and reporting

Set up and maintain Meta Pixel, Conversions API and event tracking
Monitor performance daily and flag issues before they burn budget
Deliver a weekly performance report covering spend, CPL/CPA, ROAS, and what is being tested next

Account health

Manage Business Manager, ad accounts, pages and permissions
Handle ad rejections, policy issues and account restrictions
Keep audiences, exclusions and naming conventions clean and organised

A Typical Week
Mornings checking overnight performance and adjusting budgets, mid-week launching new tests and briefing creative, end of week compiling the performance report with recommendations for the following week.

What Great Looks Like
Cost per lead is trending down, spend is scaling without performance falling over, there is always a new creative test in market, and the owner can see exactly where every dollar went and what it returned.

Who We're Looking For

Must-have

2+ years hands-on managing Meta ad accounts (not just assisting or reporting)
Proven experience managing real budgets with accountability for CPA or ROAS
Strong understanding of Business Manager, Ads Manager, Pixel and Conversions API setup
Ability to write ad copy and creative briefs in clear, native-level English
Comfortable reading data and making decisions from it without being told what to do
Strong written and spoken English, confident on WhatsApp and video calls

Nice-to-have

Experience with Google Ads or TikTok Ads
Basic creative skills (Canva, CapCut, Figma)
Experience with landing page builders and CRO
Familiarity with GHL

How to Apply
In your application, include: the ad accounts you have managed and the monthly spend, one campaign you scaled successfully with the numbers, and one campaign that failed and what you learned from it. Applications without specifics will not be considered.
