About the Company
Our client runs an Australian business that relies on GoHighLevel as its central system for lead capture, follow-up, pipelines and client communication. The platform is either half-built, inherited from someone else, or working but nowhere near its potential. What is needed is not a learner: it is someone who already knows the platform inside out and can build without supervision.

Why This Role Exists
Every hour spent explaining how GHL works is an hour wasted. The business needs a specialist who can take a plain-English instruction, understand the intent behind it, and come back with the thing built, tested and working. No hand-holding, no long discovery, no "I'll need to research that."

About the Role
A project-based GoHighLevel specialist engaged to build, fix and optimise the client's GHL environment. Scoped in projects or sprints, paid per project or milestone, with the option to continue on retainer if the work is strong.

Engagement
Project-based, scoped per build with agreed deliverables and deadlines. Ongoing retainer available for the right person.

Hours
Flexible, but must have at least 3 hours of overlap with Australian business hours (AEST) for calls and quick turnarounds

Key Responsibilities

Build and configuration

Build sub-accounts, snapshots and full account structures from scratch
Configure pipelines, opportunity stages, custom fields, custom values and tags
Set up calendars, booking flows, round-robin and team availability
Build and connect forms, surveys and funnels

Automation

Design and build workflows for lead nurture, appointment reminders, no-show recovery, reactivation and internal notifications
Handle conditional logic, wait steps, triggers and branching without breaking things
Set up SMS, email and voi cemail drop sequences with correct sending configuration

Integrations and tracking

Connect Meta, Google, Twilio, Mailgun, Stripe, Zapier/Make and webhooks
Configure conversion tracking and reporting so attribution is accurate
Migrate data in and out of GHL cleanly, no duplicates, no orphaned records

Maintenance and problem solving

Diagnose why a workflow, integration or automation is failing and fix it
Audit existing accounts and identify what is broken, redundant or costing money
Document builds so the client is not dependent on memory

A Typical Project
You receive a brief over WhatsApp or a Loom walkthrough. You ask the questions that actually matter, confirm scope, build it, test it end to end, then send back a Loom showing it working. Revisions handled fast. Next project.

What Great Looks Like
The client describes an outcome and it exists shortly after, built properly, tested, and documented. No back and forth over basics. No broken automations discovered three weeks later. The client stops thinking about GHL because someone competent owns it.

Who We're Looking For

Must-have

3+ years building in GoHighLevel, not adjacent CRMs
Portfolio of accounts, snapshots or workflows you have personally built
Deep working knowledge of workflows, triggers, custom values, pipelines and snapshot deployment
Comfortable with webhooks, APIs and third-party integrations
Able to work from a short verbal or Loom brief without a written spec
Tests own work before handing it over
Strong written and spoken English, responsive on WhatsApp

Nice-to-have

Agency or SaaS-mode GHL experience managing multiple sub-accounts
Funnel and landing page design skills
Twilio and Mailgun deliverability and compliance knowledge
Experience with Make, Zapier or n8n
Basic HTML/CSS or custom code snippets in GHL
