Medical Biller (KIPU Experience Required)

Position Overview
The Medical Biller will be responsible for managing the full billing cycle for our rehab facility, ensuring clean claims submission, proper insurance follow-ups, and timely reimbursements.

Requirements (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THESE)

Proven experience with KIPU EMR (REQUIRED)
Minimum 2+ years of medical billing experience
Experience in behavioral health / rehab billing (highly preferred)

Strong understanding of:
Insurance verification
Claims submission (electronic & manual)
Denial management & appeals
Payment posting & reconciliation
AR follow-ups
Familiar with U.S. insurance (PPO, HMO, Medicaid, Medicare)
Excellent English communication skills
High attention to detail
Stable internet connection
Ability to work U.S. business hours

Responsibilities
Insurance verification and benefit checks
Submit and track claims using KIPU
Manage denials and resubmissions
Follow up on outstanding AR
Post payments and reconcile accounts
Communicate with insurance providers as needed
Ensure compliance with U.S. healthcare billing regulations
