About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled Architectural Technical Designer / Senior CAD Drafter based in the Philippines to join a growing remote team supporting a boutique U.S.-based interior design firm.

The firm creates highly customized interiors for luxury residential clients throughout the United States. You’ll help transform creative concepts, sketches, measurements, photographs, and design direction into accurate technical drawings, construction documents, and polished client presentations.

An architectural license is not required. We care more about the quality of your work, technical knowledge, design judgment, and ability to produce professional drawings than your formal job title.

What You’ll Do

• Create and revise architectural and interior design drawings using AutoCAD
• Prepare floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings
• Assist with reflected ceiling plans, lighting and electrical layouts, finish plans, and construction-document packages
• Produce detailed drawings for custom cabinetry, millwork, built-ins, kitchens, bathrooms, and furniture
• Convert sketches, measurements, photographs, markups, and design concepts into accurate technical drawings
• Review drawings for dimensions, scale, consistency, and completeness
• Incorporate revisions and maintain organized drawing files and version histories
• Create polished PowerPoint presentations for clients and internal design reviews
• Prepare mood boards, furniture layouts, finish selections, and other visual presentation materials
• Use Photoshop to edit product images, remove backgrounds, adjust colors, and create professional design compositions
• Organize product specifications, dimensions, finishes, materials, and vendor information
• Coordinate technical details with designers, architects, contractors, vendors, and fabricators
• Manage multiple projects, revisions, and deadlines

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in architectural drafting, interior design, CAD design, or a related technical role
• Strong AutoCAD skills
• Ability to read and produce architectural or interior construction drawings
• Experience creating floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills, including the ability to create clean, visually sophisticated presentations
• Good Adobe Photoshop skills
• Understanding of scale, dimensions, space planning, materials, and finishes
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong design sense and appreciation for high-end interiors
• Ability to interpret sketches, markups, measurements, and verbal instructions
• Good written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team
• Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a professional home workspace
• Availability to work full-time during U.S. business hours

Highly Preferred

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting Technology, or a related field
• Experience working for an architect, interior designer, or construction firm
• Experience with luxury residential or custom interior design projects
• Experience creating millwork, cabinetry, built-in, kitchen, bathroom, or custom furniture drawings
• Familiarity with U.S. construction terminology, architectural standards, and imperial measurements
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or rendering software
• Experience preparing FF&E specifications, finish schedules, and construction-document packages

You combine strong technical drafting abilities with a good design eye.

You can take a sketch, marked-up plan, photograph, or set of instructions and turn it into a clear, accurate, and professional drawing. You’re comfortable receiving feedback, completing multiple rounds of revisions, and asking thoughtful questions when information is missing.

You understand that high-end interior design requires careful attention to every dimension, finish, furniture placement, and presentation detail. You’re organized, dependable, and take ownership of your assignments through completion.
