Senior Shopify Developer & GemPages Expert

About the Role
We're an established direct-to-consumer apparel brand looking for a full-time, all-round Shopify expert to
own our storefront. You'll build high-converting landing pages, develop custom features from scratch, and
continuously improve the site. This is a hands-on role for someone who can both design beautifully and
code cleanly — not just drag-and-drop

What You'll Do

• Build advertorial, listicle, and pre-sell landing pages in GemPages
• Develop and customize Shopify themes — Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Build custom features and widgets from scratch — e.g. custom carts, gifting-cart widgets, upsell

modules, promo/announcement bars

• Manage and maintain the website day-to-day: updates, fixes, new sections, banners, and bars
• Apply CRO best practices to lift conversion — sticky add-to-cart, express checkout, social-proof

placement, A/B testing

• Integrate and troubleshoot Shopify apps (reviews, upsells, cart & offer apps)
• Keep everything fast, responsive, and flawless on mobile

Must-Have Skills

• Expert-level GemPages (required)
• Strong Shopify development — Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript — able to build custom features and

widgets, not only use page builders

• Proven CRO / conversion-optimization experience
• Strong design eye — your pages look premium and on-brand, never templated
• Solid ecommerce / DTC understanding
• Excellent written English and reliable daily communication
• A portfolio of Shopify stores, landing pages, and custom work (required — applications without one

won't be reviewed)
Nice to Have

• Copywriting experience
• Experience with other page builders (Shogun, Replo)
• A/B testing tools and analytics (GA4, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar)
• Basic graphic / image editing
