The Sustainable Builders Alliance (SBA) is an Australian membership organisation that helps builders, designers, and construction professionals build low-carbon, sustainable homes. We run an online learning platform, a podcast, webinars, events, and a member community.

About the role
We're looking for a reliable, organised Virtual Assistant to support our small team with day-to-day tasks across marketing, sales, events, and finance. You'll help keep things running smoothly so our team can focus on growing the organisation.

What you'll do
Marketing: Manage our email database (Mailchimp), help produce our podcast (research guests, schedule, upload to Buzzsprout), monitor social media (Instagram, Facebook , LinkedIn), draft newsletters, and update the website (Webflow).

Sales / Sponsors & Members: Help onboard new sponsors (agreements, logos, filing), keep our sponsorship tracker up to date (Google Sheets), send renewal reminders, follow up member profiles, and manage member surveys.

Events: Manage the events calendar (Asana), book presenters, set up webinars and events (Zoom, Humanitix), and issue CPD certificates and recordings (Canva).

Finance: Reconcile monthly transactions in Xero and attach invoices, and support the Head of Finance as needed.

Skills required
Excellent written English and strong attention to detail
Well organised with great time management
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable learning and using a range of software tools

Tools we use
Asana, Canva, Google Suite, Mailchimp, Humanitix, Xero, and Webflow. Bonus if you've used Buzzsprout and Memberstack.
