ABOUT PICPROGRESS
PicProgress is a Finland-based fitness and bodybuilding brand creating practical products that help athletes take more consistent, high-quality progress and posing photos.
Our first product is currently selling on Amazon US. We are building toward a broader product portfolio, stronger Amazon sales, and expansion into international marketplaces.
We are looking for an experienced Amazon professional who can take ownership of marketplace performance and operations.
This is not a junior virtual assistant or task-only position. We need someone who identifies risks early, recommends solutions, executes reliably, and communicates clearly with the founder and the rest of the team.
YOUR MISSION
Keep our Amazon business healthy, compliant, in stock, measurable, and growing profitably. At the same time, build documented systems that do not depend on one person’s memory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SELLER CENTRAL, ACCOUNT HEALTH AND CATALOG MANAGEMENT
- Manage day-to-day Seller Central operations across current and future marketplaces.
- Monitor Account Health, performance notifications, policy issues, compliance requirements, and listing risks.
- Create, improve, and maintain product listings, images, copy, back-end search terms, A+ Content, Brand Store content, and other marketplace assets.
- Manage variations, parent-child structures, flat-file updates, GTIN and FNSKU issues, suppressed listings, stranded inventory, and catalog errors.
- Open, track, follow up, and escalate Seller Support cases until each issue is fully resolved.
- Maintain clear documentation, change logs, and standard operating procedures for critical account processes.
2. LISTING OPTIMIZATION, GROWTH AND CONVERSION
- Conduct keyword, competitor, indexing, and search-performance analysis.
- Improve organic visibility, click-through rate, conversion rate, sales, and contribution margin at ASIN and SKU level.
- Plan and execute tests for titles, main images, bullet points, and A+ Content.
- Manage product launches, Amazon Vine, coupons, deals, promotions, and other relevant growth initiatives.
- Analyze reviews, returns, refunds, and Voice of the Customer data.
- Turn customer feedback and account data into concrete listing, packaging, and product-development recommendations.
3. AMAZON ADS
- Take full ownership of Amazon Ads strategy and hands-on campaign management.
- Manage Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns.
- Build and optimize campaign structures, keyword targeting, product targeting, negative targeting, bids, placements, budgets, and search-term harvesting.
- Analyze ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, CTR, conversion rate, organic rankings, and total SKU profitability.
- Connect advertising decisions with inventory availability, organic growth, and overall business profitability—not only with lowering ACOS.
4. INVENTORY, FBA AND INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS
- Manage demand forecasting, reorder points, lead times, weeks of cover, and the prevention of stock-outs and overstock.
- Coordinate purchasing and replenishment between the factory, international freight partners, Smart Warehousing 3PL, and Amazon FBA.
- Create and monitor FBA shipments, delivery appointments, receiving status, inventory transfers, and shipment ETAs.
- Resolve receiving discrepancies, lost or damaged units, reimbursement opportunities, storage-fee risks, and aged inventory.
- Maintain a reliable inventory and shipment tracker that provides early warning of every material risk.
5. INTERNATIONAL MARKETPLACE MANAGEMENT
- Manage and help expand Amazon marketplaces beyond the United States.
- Localize listings, keywords, pricing, and promotions for each marketplace instead of simply copying the US listing.
- Track currencies, marketplace-specific fees, landed costs, and profitability.
- Understand cross-border FBA and 3PL options.
- Recognize VAT, EPR, product-compliance, and documentation requirements early enough to coordinate the appropriate specialists.
WEEKLY PERFORMANCE REPORTING
You will prepare and present one clear weekly operating report.
The report must explain:
- What happened during the week
- Why it happened
- What actions were completed
- What risks or problems require attention
- What decisions are needed
- What will happen next
The weekly report should include:
- Sales, units sold, revenue, sessions, and conversion rate
- Advertising spend, advertising sales, ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rate
- SKU-level Amazon fees, landed costs, contribution margin, and profitability
- Organic keyword rankings, indexing status, listing changes, and active experiments
- Inventory on hand, weeks of cover, reorder status, shipment ETAs, and stock risks
- Returns, refunds, reviews, ratings, and Voice of the Customer findings
- Account Health, open Seller Support cases, reimbursements, and unresolved risks
- Completed actions, next week’s priorities, recommendations, owners, and deadlines
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Several years of advanced, hands-on Amazon Seller Central management experience.
- Proven responsibility for Amazon accounts and results that you can clearly explain and verify.
- Direct Amazon marketplace management experience in at least two regions, preferably North America and Europe or the UK.
- Strong hands-on Amazon Ads expertise, including campaign creation, optimization, budgeting, analysis, and profitable growth.
- Advanced experience with listings, A+ Content, Amazon SEO, keyword research, Brand Registry, catalog structure, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with demand forecasting, replenishment, FBA shipments, factories, international freight, 3PL warehouses, landed costs, Amazon fees, returns, and contribution margin.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and present weekly performance data.
- Clear written and spoken English.
- Proactive ownership, reliable communication, and dependable remote follow-through.
- Ability to communicate risks, delays, and blocked tasks early—not after they become urgent problems.
- Availability for an agreed level of overlap with Finland business hours.
HIGHLY VALUED BUT SECONDARY
- Shopify or other direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform management experience.
- Experience with Amazon analytics, profitability, keyword research, or advertising software.
- Fitness, bodybuilding, sports, or consumer-product brand experience.
- New-product launch experience across multiple Amazon marketplaces.
- Practical understanding of European VAT, EPR, and marketplace-compliance coordination.
- Experience creating repeatable SOPs, dashboards, and operating systems for a founder-led business.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE DURING THE FIRST 90 DAYS
- Complete audit of Seller Central, Account Health, listings, Amazon Ads, inventory, logistics, and profitability.
- Prioritized action plan based on the audit findings.
- Weekly dashboard and presentation system that gives the founder a clear view of performance, risks, and required decisions.
- Documented Amazon Ads baseline, optimization plan, and campaign structure connected to profitable growth.
- Reliable demand forecast, reorder model, inventory tracker, and shipment-ETA system.
- Prioritized listing and catalog optimization roadmap.
- Urgent listing errors, suppressions, and operational issues resolved.
- Documented SOPs for recurring Amazon, advertising, reporting, inventory, shipment, and Seller Support processes.
HOW WE WORK
Ownership
You are expected to take responsibility for the final outcome, not only complete one assigned step.
Early communication
Problems are normal. Silent problems are not. If something is delayed, blocked, or at risk, we expect immediate communication.
Evidence over opinions
Recommendations should be supported by account data, customer evidence, relevant experience, or a clear testing plan.
Continuous improvement
We value professional and personal development. New knowledge should be actively applied to the work.
Honest and sustainable growth
We want profitable long-term progress without shortcuts that could put the brand or Amazon account at risk.
IMPORTANT
We are hiring one individual for a long-term internal position.
Agencies, outsourced teams, and candidates looking only for a short-term project are not the right fit.
