About the Role

We’re looking for a highly experienced Web Developer who can take ownership of website builds, maintenance, optimisation, and technical implementation across multiple brands and client projects.

This role is ideal for someone proactive, organised, detail-oriented, and confident enough to work through checklists, spot gaps, and recommend improvements without needing constant follow-up.

What you’ll be working on:
Building and updating websites, mainly in WordPress / Elementor
Taking over existing website projects and improving structure, speed, responsiveness, and usability
Creating landing pages, service pages, campaign pages, and website sections
Ensuring all pages are mobile-responsive and visually aligned with approved designs
Troubleshooting website issues, bugs, forms, tracking, embeds, and integrations
Setting up and managing basic technical requirements such as domains, DNS, redirects, hosting coordination, and plugin updates
Running website QA checklists before pages go live
Checking mobile, tablet, desktop, buttons, links, forms, page speed, spacing, layout, and tracking
Working closely with marketing, design, content, SEO, and technical teams
Supporting website launches, page migrations, and ongoing site maintenance
Helping improve our internal web development process and quality control

Must have:
Strong experience with WordPress and Elementor
Strong eye for responsive design, especially mobile optimisation
Good understanding of website speed, UX, SEO basics, and technical best practices
Ability to troubleshoot issues independently
Experience working with forms, tracking pixels, GA4/GTM, CRM or third-party integrations
Ability to work across multiple websites and priorities
Strong communication and ownership mindset
Comfortable working with existing brand guidelines, designs, and content
Able to follow checklists properly and flag anything unclear or missing
Proactive enough to suggest fixes, improvements, and better ways to build

Nice to have:
Basic custom CSS, HTML, JavaScript, or PHP knowledge
Experience with website migrations and DNS/domain setup
Experience working with Australian businesses or marketing teams
Familiarity with Canva, Figma, ---------- , Google Workspace, and analytics tools

We’re looking for someone who can:
Lead web execution, not just wait for tasks
Work through detailed website QA and launch checklists
Spot issues before they become problems
Recommend better ways to build, structure, and optimise websites
Communicate blockers early
Work fast, clean, and accurately
Take full ownership of web quality across projects
