About Us
We are fast-growing Australian bookkeeping, accounting and CFO support firm. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to our clients through efficient systems, attention to detail and a supportive team culture.
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys accounts receivable application and reconciliation, and continuously improving receivables processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable function.
- Generate and issue invoices accurately and on time.
- Monitor outstanding debtor balances and proactively follow up overdue accounts.
- Process customer payments and allocate receipts.
- Manage direct debit payments through Ezidebit.
- Respond to client billing enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Work closely with the bookkeeping and client management teams to resolve billing issues.
- Maintain accurate debtor records and notes.
- Produce weekly and monthly debtor reports.
- Assist with improving AR workflows and collection processes.
- Ensure all activities are completed within agreed service levels and company procedures.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Highly Desirable
- Experience using Ezidebit.
- Experience using ---------- .
- Experience using ClickUp.
- Experience with Xero.
- Experience working with Australian businesses.
- Experience in a bookkeeping or accounting practice.
