E-commerce Systems, AI & Automation Specialist

About Us

We are a growing e-commerce business selling through Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop and eBay, with both B2C and B2B operations.

We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Systems, AI & Automation Specialist to help us centralise our inventory, integrate our sales channels and automate repetitive operational tasks.

Our immediate priority is to implement one master inventory management system that provides accurate visibility across:

Shopify
Amazon FBA and FBM
TikTok Shop
eBay
Our warehouse and third-party fulfilment locations
B2B and wholesale orders

This is not primarily a chatbot or prompt-writing role. We need someone with hands-on experience in ecommerce systems, marketplace integrations, inventory management, APIs and workflow automation.

Key Responsibilities
Audit our existing Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, eBay and warehouse processes
Evaluate inventory platforms such as Veeqo, Linnworks, Cin7 and similar systems
Recommend the most suitable master inventory management system
Implement and configure the approved inventory system
Connect Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop and eBay
Configure Amazon FBA, FBM and Multi-Channel Fulfilment workflows
Establish separate inventory locations for warehouse, FBA, incoming, returned, damaged and quarantined stock
Map products, variants, SKUs, barcodes, ASINs and FNSKUs correctly
Establish inventory allocation, channel buffers and safety-stock rules
Prevent overselling, duplicate orders and incorrect inventory deductions
Create inventory reconciliation reports and failed-sync alerts
Build automations using ---------- , Zapier or n8n
Integrate Shopify, QuickBooks, Google Workspace and ClickUp
Work with APIs, webhooks and JSON data
Develop appropriate AI workflows using ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other tools
Create internal AI assistants where they provide genuine operational value
Test automations safely before deploying them to live systems
Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain existing automations
Create clear SOPs, process maps and training materials
Train non-technical tea ---------- mbers to use the new systems

Required Experience
Proven experience implementing multichannel ecommerce inventory systems
Strong hands-on experience with Shopify products, variants, SKUs, locations and orders
Experience with Amazon Seller Central, including FBA and FBM
Experience integrating ecommerce marketplaces such as TikTok Shop and eBay
Experience with at least one inventory platform such as Veeqo, Linnworks, Cin7, Sellercloud, Extensiv or a similar system
Strong understanding of inventory allocation across multiple warehouses and fulfilment locations
Experience with ---------- , Zapier or n8n
Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication and JSON
Experience creating reliable error handling, retries, logs and alerts
Ability to identify and resolve product and SKU-mapping issues
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to document workflows and create easy-to-follow SOPs
Strong understanding of data security and access control

Initial Project

Your first project will be to assess and implement a master inventory system that can:

Display inventory held at our warehouse and Amazon FBA.
Keep FBA and FBM inventory separate.
Track incoming inventory sent to Amazon.
Synchronise inventory across Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop and eBay.
Process B2C and B2B orders using the correct inventory location.
Prevent overselling and inventory conflicts.
Reconcile stock discrepancies.
Notify the team when a marketplace or inventory synchronisation fails.
Provide clear reports and dashboards.
Scale as order volume and sales channels increase.

What Success Looks Like

One reliable master inventory system is implemented
Accurate inventory visibility across all channels and locations
Amazon FBA and FBM inventory is correctly separated
Marketplace orders and inventory synchronise reliably
Overselling and manual inventory adjustments are significantly reduced
Failed synchronisations are quickly identified and resolved
Manual operational tasks are reduced through automation
Automations include proper testing, logging and error handling
Systems are clearly documented and easy for the team to manage
The team is trained to use the new workflows confidently
