QA Tester with Bookkeeping/AP Experience – Restaurant Management Software (Invoice Entry, Inventory, Data Validation)

We’re building Sously, a back-of-house management platform for restaurants (invoice processing, recipe costing, inventory, accounting dashboards). We need a detail-oriented tester with an accounting background to help us validate the product before launch.

What you’ll do:

• Enter supplier invoices and verify line items, unit costs, and totals flow correctly into reports
• Manage inventory counts and confirm quantities, units, and valuations reconcile
• Check that journal entries and accounting data map correctly (AP, COGS)
• Document bugs and data discrepancies clearly (screenshots, steps to reproduce)

Required:

• Bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounting experience (you should be comfortable with terms like COGS, journal entries, unit of measure conversions)
• Experience with QuickBooks, restaurant/inventory software (Toast)
• Strong written English for bug reports
