About the Role

Hey there! I’m on the hunt for two talented video editors to join my team for a long-term, consistent collaboration. This is a chance to work on exciting educational content and bring fresh ideas to life on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. I’m looking for editors who love what they do, are open to experimenting with new ideas, and pay close attention to the little details that make videos shine. If this sounds like you, read on!

POSITION 1: Talking Head Video Editor (How-To Videos)
In this role, you can work on talking head-style videos, ensuring they’re dynamic to grab attention with cool text overlays and interesting effects, animations and motion graphics that complements the brand of the video. Each video is up to 15 minutes long, and every 5 seconds something need to be happening. You can work with the ideas and direction I provide, or surprise me with your own creative flair. Compensation will be per project, complexity and creativity. Range 10$ - $20 per video. Shorts $3.

What You’ll Need:
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
A solid understanding of pacing, transitions, and making content pop for different platforms.
A love for details—you know the little things that take a video from “okay” to “amazing.”
Ability to create several short videos from the original tutorial.
Bonus points: If you’ve got graphic design skills or motion graphics/animation experience is a huge plus! Knowing AI video editing with consistent character is also a plus for future projects.

POSITION 2: Whiteboard/Animation Video Editor
This role is all about creating fun, easy-to-follow whiteboard animation or explainer tutorial videos. If you love explaining ideas visually with clean and clever animations, this will be perfect for you. Preferred software is Vyond, but other software may work as well. In addition to that, you will need creativity to turn scripts into visually engaging stories, and a collaborative attitude, as I value feedback and love working as a team.

What I’m Looking For in Both Roles:
Someone who wants to grow with me long-term and work consistently.
A person who loves video editing and enjoys trying out new ideas and concepts.
Strong attention to detail—you care about delivering great work every time.
A team player who’s responsive, reliable, and easy to collaborate with.
Someone who is fair and offers a great balance between speed and quality.

How We’ll Work Together:
We can work in one of two ways, depending on your style and preference:
Guided Editing: I’ll provide you with clear concepts, scripts, and assets. You focus on the effects and final touches.
Independent Editing: You’ll take raw footage or a script and work your magic, handling everything from start to finish.
Based on that, compensation will follow.

Interested?
If this sounds like your kind of project, I’d love to hear from you! Also Let me know if you prefer guided editing, independent editing, or both. I am looking forward learning more about you. If you posses both skills in regular, retention editing and whiteboard/animation videos, I may d ---------- to hire one editor for both needs instead of two. Starting compensation is $10-20$ per up to 15 min video.

Thank you in advance for your interest. If you are interested in one of these positions start your application with VIDEO EDITOR: POSITION 1 or POSITION 2 based on your interest, and list your best skills.
