Media Outreach & Podcast Booking Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Media Outreach & Podcast Booking Coordinator to help secure media opportunities for authors, artists, entrepreneurs, and entertainment projects.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, relationship-building, and outreach. Your primary responsibility will be identifying media opportunities and securing interviews, podcast appearances, press coverage, and speaking opportunities for our projects and clients.

This is not a traditional publicist position. We are looking for an execution-focused professional who can build media lists, conduct outreach, manage follow-up communications, and track results.

Responsibilities

• Research podcasts, radio shows, media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers
• Build and maintain media contact databases
• Pitch authors, artists, and projects to podcasts, radio shows, publications, and event organizers
• Follow up consistently with media contacts
• Schedule and coordinate interviews and appearances
• Track outreach efforts and results using spreadsheets and CRM systems
• Assist with media kit distribution
• Monitor media opportunities and industry trends
• Maintain organized records of contacts, conversations, and bookings
