Short-Term Rental Operations Assistant (Remote)

ModernBnb is a boutique short-term rental company operating 8 properties in Ontario, Canada. We run a fast-moving, tech-forward operation and are hiring a detail-oriented VA to own our afternoon and evening shift.

-Hours: 5:00 PM - 12:00 AM EST, 7 days/week
-Rate: $3.50 USD/hour
-Type: Full-Time Remote

What You'll Do

-Monitor and respond to guest messages across Airbnb and direct booking platforms
-Handle check-in/check-out support, access issues, and guest troubleshooting in real time
-Order supplies via Amazon and track inventory across properties
-Track and log guest charges including late checkouts, early check-ins, and additional fees in QuickBooks
-Audit and maintain Breezeway task completion and photo records
-Keep Google Drive files organized, accurate, and up to date
-Coordinate with on-site staff and ownership through Slack
-Flag and escalate issues promptly without waiting to be asked

What We're Looking For

-1+ year in remote VA, property management, or guest services
-Strong written English and fast response time
-Experience with AI tools and comfortable learning new software quickly
-Highly organized with strong record-keeping habits - this is non-negotiable
-Independent problem solver who can act without hand-holding
-Two monitors required
-Available 7 days/week including weekends and holidays
-Reliable internet and a quiet workspace
