We are seeking a passionate and experienced grant writer to help expand our impact by securing funding for current and future programs that make these services more accessible to the communities we serve.
Position Overview
Eden Dawn Ecotherapy is looking for an experienced Grant Writer to identify funding opportunities, prepare compelling grant proposals, and help secure financial support from foundations, corporations, government agencies, and other charitable funding sources.
This is an independent contractor position with a success-based compensation structure. We are looking for someone who believes in our mission and is confident in their ability to secure funding.
Responsibilities
Research grant opportunities that align with Eden Dawn Ecotherapy's mission and programs.
Write and submit high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documentation.
Work closely with organizational leadership to develop project narratives, budgets, and measurable outcomes.
Maintain a calendar of grant opportunities and submission deadlines.
Identify new funding sources and partnership opportunities.
Assist with post-award reporting requirements when needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience writing successful grant proposals.
Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
Experience working with nonprofit organizations.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with Utah funding opportunities is a plus.
A passion for improving lives through community wellness, mental health, and nature-based programs is highly valued.
Compensation
This is a success-based independent contractor position.
Compensation is 15% of the total approved grant award and will be paid after the grant has been approved and funding has been received by Eden Dawn Ecotherapy.
There is no upfront or hourly compensation. By applying, candidates acknowledge that payment is contingent upon the successful award and receipt of grant funding and agree to this compensation structure.
