Music & Entertainment Growth Assistant (Sales & Marketing)
Curated from source
Shift: US EST Business Hours
About the Artist:
You will be working directly to support Marionna, an exceptional, rising Pop recording artist. With a high-energy, modern sound and a fast-growing brand, Mari is at an exciting turning point in her music career. She performs both as a sleek solo/acoustic act for high-end lounges and corporate events, and with a full live backing band for major festivals and college campuses. We are scaling her booking calendar and digital footprint, and we need a dedicated "growth engine" to help manage her brand and secure paid gigs.
About the Role:
As our Music & Entertainment Growth Assistant, you aren't just an administrative worker—you are a business partner in Marionna's success. Your primary mission is to get Mari booked on stages and expand her digital fanbase. This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role combining outbound sales (cold calling/emailing venues), social media curation, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookings & Outbound Sales (50% of the role): Research US-based music venues, festivals, corporate event planners, and college activity boards. You will actively cold-call and email talent buyers to pitch Mari, handle negotiations, and secure paid performance contracts.
Social Media & Fan Engagement: Plan, edit, and schedule engaging short-form video content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Actively reply to comments and DMs to nurture her core fanbase.
Email Marketing: Manage Marionna's subscriber list.
Design and dispatch weekly/monthly newsletters using platforms like Mailchimp or Klaviyo to announce new music drops, merchandise, and upcoming show dates.
CRM & Relationship Nurturing: Maintain a clean, organized database of venues, past clients, and industry contacts. Execute consistent follow-up sequences so Mari remains top-of-mind for future event cycles.
General Admin: Keep the tour and rehearsal calendars meticulously organized, update the tour dates on the official website, and ensure the Electronic Press Kit (EPK) is always client-ready.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Updated)
Flawless Verbal & Written English: You must possess a confident, professional, and persuasive speaking voice.
You will be pitching directly to American corporate clients and venue owners over the phone.
Outbound Sales or Telemarketing Experience: You are comfortable picking up the phone, handling objections, and navigating the word "no" to close a deal.
Tech Stack Mastery: * GoHighLevel (GHL): Strong working knowledge of GHL is highly preferred. You should know how to navigate the CRM, manage opportunities/pipelines, track conversations, and manage email /SMS workflows.
Google Workspace: Proficient in Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and advanced Gmail/Calendar management for scheduling performances and rehearsals.
Creative Tools: Experience using Canva and basic video editing tools (like CapCut) to format short-form video content.
High Technical Reliability: A quiet home office environment, a noise-canceling headset, a reliable computer, and a stable, high-speed fiber internet connection (with a backup power/internet plan).
Including these specific apps will save you dozens of hours in onboarding and training because your new hire will be able to log in and start working on day one.
