Bookkeeper (Part-Time | Remote) - Australian expereince and xero

About Us

The Lucy Rose Clinic is one of Australia's leading telehealth functional medicine clinics, specialising in thyroid, hormone and metabolic health.

We're looking for an experienced Australian Bookkeeper to join our growing team on a long-term, part-time basis (approximately 20 hours per week).

You'll work closely with our CEO and Australian BAS Agent to ensure our financial records are accurate, reconciled and up to date.

About the Role

This role is responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping across our Australian businesses and one small New Zealand entity.

Accuracy is everything.

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys bookkeeping, understands Australian accounting requirements, and takes pride in ensuring every transaction is correctly entered, reconciled and balanced.

Key Responsibilities
Daily bank and credit card reconciliations
Process sales, purchases and supplier invoices
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Maintain accurate Xero records
Process documents using Dext
Australian payroll, STP, superannuation and leave
Daily cashflow reporting and forecasting
Balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
Assist our BAS Agent with month-end and BAS preparation
Support management with financial reporting
Essential Requirements
Minimum 5 years' Australian bookkeeping experience
Current Xero Certification
Proven Australian payroll experience
Strong reconciliation skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and spoken English
Able to follow systems and processes
Reliable and able to work independently during Australian business hours

Preferred
Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping (or equivalent)
Dext experience
Multi-entity bookkeeping experience
Advanced Xero knowledge
