Junior/Mid-Level Podcast Editor

Job Description:
We’re looking for a motivated Junior/Mid-Level Podcast Editor to join our team. Your primary focus will be cleaning up and editing podcast episodes while upskilling in YouTube and advanced editing by learning directly from our experienced professionals.

We need someone with fundamental to decent skills in animating text, rotobrushing, audio balancing, and SFX work. While we provide mentorship, our goal is for you to become a self-sufficient editor who can eventually handle complex projects with minimal hand-holding. If you have the basics down and want to learn how to produce world-class content, this is the place for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, balance, and edit raw podcast audio and video into polished, high-quality episodes. Minimum of 1 edit a week.
• Execute rigorous quality control, ensuring there are absolutely no syncing issues, dead air, or typos in on-screen text.
• Design and implement animated intros, text overlays, and basic SFX to enhance the listener and viewer experience.
• Actively learn from senior editors to master advanced VFX and YouTube-specific storytelling techniques.
• Take ownership of the podcast pipeline to achieve full self-sufficiency in the production process.

Requirements:

• Fundamental and decent skill level in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Extreme attention to detail - you hate seeing a single typo or a frame out of sync.
• A portfolio demonstrating your ability to handle clean audio balancing and basic motion graphics.
• A "student of the game" mentality: you want to learn quickly and become an independent powerhouse.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to feedback, iteration, and speed.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet weekly deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Color grading, fundamental sound design, and audio mixing skills.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience editing educational or personal brand content for high-performing entrepreneurs.
• A knack for building out efficient editing pipelines and managing timelines in ---------- & ClickUp or similar.
