About the Role

Recruitment Coordinator

Overview

We are a fast-growing chess coaching company operating in over 100 primary schools across multiple counties, with continued expansion planned over the next year.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Recruitment Coordinator to help manage coach recruitment, onboarding and safer recruitment processes across the company.

This is a key operational role requiring excellent communication skills, strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing coach recruitment from application through to onboarding
  • Screening candidates and arranging interviews
  • Conducting interviews with prospective coaches
  • Supporting safer recruitment and safeguarding processes
  • Managing DBS tracking, references and recruitment documentation
  • Coordinating onboarding and training schedules
  • Handling recruitment-related email s and communication
  • Maintaining organised recruitment records and databases
  • Scheduling interviews, training sessions and operational meetings
  • Working closely with the operations team to ensure staffing requirements are met
  • We would also like you to be responsible for scheduling our coaches and ensuring smooth running of the clubs throughout the term.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Absolutely fluent in spoken and written English
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Smart, proactive and able to think independently
  • A strong problem solver
  • Hard-working and reliable
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Professional and confident communicating with candidates and staff
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced using email , spreadsheets and online systems
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Available during UK working hours

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment, administration, HR coordination or operations support and will be comfortable working in a growing business environment.

Experience with safeguarding or safer recruitment processes is beneficial but not essential.
