About Us

Kings & Queens Chess is a UK-based education company that runs after-school chess clubs in primary schools. We work closely with schools to deliver engaging, structured, and enjoyable chess sessions for children.

The Role

We’re looking for a confident, friendly, English-speaking caller to contact UK primary schools and introduce our after-school chess clubs. Your role is to speak with school offices, identify the correct contact person, share basic information, and pass interested schools to our management team for follow-up.

This is not a hard sales role — the focus is polite outreach, relationship-building, and lead generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Call UK primary schools during UK school hours (09:00 to 15:00 GMT)
  • Speak politely and professionally with school office staff
  • Introduce Kings & Queens Chess and our chess clubs (script will be provided)
  • Share headline information (session format, general pricing, flexibility)
  • Log call outcomes accurately in a spreadsheet or CRM
  • Escalate interested schools to management for follow-up

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • A calm, friendly, and professional phone manner
  • Previous calling, virtual assistant, or admin experience preferred
  • Comfortable speaking with schools and education professionals
  • Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented
  • Able to follow scripts and guidelines closely

Hours & Pay

  • Hours aligned with UK school hours
  • Starting at ?200 per hour, depending on experience
  • Opportunity for additional bonuses based on performance

How to Apply

Please include:

  • A short introduction about yourself
  • Any previous calling or outreach experience
  • A brief example of how you would introduce our service to a UK primary school.
